Publisher's summary

A renowned rake, Cameron Mackenzie doesn't care if Ainsley Douglas has a virtuous excuse for sneaking around his bedchamber. He only cares that she's at his mercy. One kiss at a time, he plans to seduce her. But what starts out as a lusty diversion may break Cam's own rules.

Consistent Series

I'm enjoying the series. It's predictable, but still fun.

Narrator:
Angela Dawe- 3 stars- Ok narrator, but needs lots of work on her accents. They sound unnatural

Sexy ... Sweet...oh so good!

The third book in the series is just as good as the other two. No let down here! Ainsley was a great character and I really really like Cameron.

We get to learn more about Daniel in this book. He plays a large roll and I absolutely love him. I can't wait to hear his story. His interaction with his father and Ainsley is absolutely hilarious in the beginning.

We also get a teaser of Hart and Miss Ramsay's story.

Again the best part of this book is getting to see the whole family.

I didn't enjoy the Queen in this book. I felt like her part in the story was almost forced in a way but I really don't know how to explain it..... I just didn't like her. I guess it is just the need for conflict.

Cameron's past is definitely dark and he has a lot to overcome but Ainsley is perfect for him.

I laughed (Thanks to Daniel and Mac), felt sorrow, was outraged, warmed with love..... it's a great story and totally worth the credit.

The Lord and his Lady

Another great book by the author. Ainsley was caught by Cameron skulking around his rooms. When he tried to seduce he she said she can not betray her husband. She fled and then 6 years later she is caught again in Cameron's room. This time she was searching for the Queens letter that she is being blackmailed over. With her husband dead know, Cameron knew he would seduce her this time. A great cat and mouse game with the both of them. When he realized that it was the Queen being blackmailed he assisted her. He then asked her to run away with him when he leaves in a few weeks. Another great story on the MacKenzie family.

The Mackenzie's Rock!!!!

Where does The Many Sins of Lord Cameron rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Literally ( pardon the pun) #1!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cameron, has always been my favourite character, even since book one.

What about Angela Dawe’s performance did you like?

I love her voice, she's perfect.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This is a book, with real feeling. You can imagine yourself in this dysfunctional, but loving family. These 4 men take care of each other, as adults as they had as boys, due to the abusive house they grew up in.
This book is about Cameron, the 2nd oldest. who suffered abuse from his father and also his wife, who had tried to kill their baby son, before she killed herself, years earlier.
Cameron has meaningless affairs, because he believes he is not worthy of anything else, until he meets Ainsley.
Their story is beautiful and heart-warming.

Any additional comments?

This is one of the best series of books I have read. You will fall in love with these characters, and their families.
Don't miss out, you won't regret it.

Ian still cannot be beat!

If you could sum up The Many Sins of Lord Cameron in three words, what would they be?

sexy, sad, sweet....

What did you like best about this story?

The storyline was a little creepy at times. I enjoyed hearing about the other brothers and how they were doing and of course the resolution of Cameron's problems.

Which character – as performed by Angela Dawe – was your favorite?

I liked Ainsley..

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved it when Ainsley got some ba#$%s and gave the queen a tongue-lashing, she deserved it!

Any additional comments?

Ian is still the best!!!!!!!

Absolutely Loved It!

If you could sum up The Many Sins of Lord Cameron in three words, what would they be?

Intriguing, Classy, HOT

What other book might you compare The Many Sins of Lord Cameron to and why?

All the other Mackenzie Books

Which scene was your favorite?

Where Cam finally realizes that he can actually sleep in the bed with his wife and not be terrified. I love the scenes with Daniel too.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No...I even listened to some parts of the book twice.

Any additional comments?

I wasn't sure about this book. I thought it would be similar to other romances. However, I love the hard, triumphant love of this book.

Excellent Narration! Compelling characters/plot!!

If you could sum up The Many Sins of Lord Cameron in three words, what would they be?

Outstanding book series!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Many Sins of Lord Cameron?

Every moment of angst and uncertainty rang true with both leads, but especially Lord Cameron.

Which scene was your favorite?

I am reviewing this book to far out to recall a particular scene, but I remember that Lord Cameron was distinctl different than his brother, Ian, and that the intensity of the family's love for one another, and for their mates was consistent and compelling.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I don't really laugh or cry at books as a rule, but I felt myself rooting for the characters in a big way and wanting the best for them!

Any additional comments?

The whole series is one of the best I've encountered!!!

Another Good Entry In the Series

This should be called the Mackenzie Series. Highland Pleasures is so commercial and obvious.

Angela Dawe narrates the entire series and is excellent. I could see someone else with more of a Scottish accent but she captures the characters so well I don’t see any negatives in her performance.

Lord Cameron is as flawed and damaged as his other brothers, possibly more so because of his father AND first wife, but the intensity and focus that came out of those disasters made his character so intriguing.

Ainsley Douglas, the love interest, is also damaged and flawed, but in a much different way. They each have an intensity that makes this romance believable.

Daniel’s character, Cam’s son from his first tragic marriage, is so believable you want to adopt him – well – watch him grow up anyway. He is a first class character, and I believe Jennifer Ashley has a book about him coming. I will look for it.

As I said before, the all of the brothers are in every novel, and each add a measure of interest. The first book was just the four brothers – by the end…well you will have to see.

Each book in this series is worth a credit.
