Publisher's Summary

A renowned rake, Cameron Mackenzie doesn't care if Ainsley Douglas has a virtuous excuse for sneaking around his bedchamber. He only cares that she's at his mercy. One kiss at a time, he plans to seduce her. But what starts out as a lusty diversion may break Cam's own rules.

I ignore genre labels. Some of my favorite books are outside my genre comfort zone. Listening to audiobooks is still reading. Not theater.

"A Book in Need of a Plot"

When the first thing I think of when I remember an audiobook is how much I love the narrator, then I know the book was definitely missing something. A narrator makes or breaks a mediocre book. If the narrator is no better than the story they are telling, I lose all motivation to finish the book in any format. But if the book is good, the narrator makes no difference to me. If I don't like their voice, I put the audiobook down and pick up the ebook.

I finished this book. The narration was great, I love a couple of the secondary characters that were featured in previous books and put in brief appearances here. I didn't dislike the main characters. But they were characters desperately in need of a plot.

I got the feeling that since the first book in the series talked of 4 brothers, the author felt she had to devote a book to each, whether they warranted it or not.

There was no drama, no suspense, no climax, no heartfelt emotion, no plot. And it didn't seem to know how to end. So it petered out the last quarter of the book, until it just kind of disappeared. The book could have been telling the story of the courtship and marriage of any couple, no matter how ordinary, mundane and dull it was.

I am going on the assumption that The Madness of Lord Ian Makenzie was a fluke. It would have stood much better on its own. I think there is a lesson to be learned here. Yes, book series can be entertaining for the reader and incredibly profitable for the author. But that doesn't mean that every book deserves a sequel, no matter how good the book is.

I will read the last in the series, because I am hoping for more than a glimpse of Ian and Beth. And there are a couple of questions raised back in the first book, I am hoping the next book will answer.

    "Good Good..."

Very enjoyable. I like how Cameron had such a tragic story but found love in the end. Worth the credit. Not a buy but yes to free credit. I mean he is a McKenzie... Loved that...

Still Narrator is really getting on my nerves with her da dee da voice...

    "Love this series"

This is another wonderful book in the series! Jennifer Ashley doesn't beat and the bush describing the passion of her characters and Angela Dawe is by far my favorite narrator!!! She has a distinct voice for each character and her Scotts accent is impeccable.

    "Sexy ... Sweet...oh so good!"

The third book in the series is just as good as the other two. No let down here! Ainsley was a great character and I really really like Cameron.

We get to learn more about Daniel in this book. He plays a large roll and I absolutely love him. I can't wait to hear his story. His interaction with his father and Ainsley is absolutely hilarious in the beginning.

We also get a teaser of Hart and Miss Ramsay's story.

Again the best part of this book is getting to see the whole family.

I didn't enjoy the Queen in this book. I felt like her part in the story was almost forced in a way but I really don't know how to explain it..... I just didn't like her. I guess it is just the need for conflict.

Cameron's past is definitely dark and he has a lot to overcome but Ainsley is perfect for him.

I laughed (Thanks to Daniel and Mac), felt sorrow, was outraged, warmed with love..... it's a great story and totally worth the credit.

"the best narrator in my audible experience"

I say it time and time again. I love this series! The story line is good and the naughty bits aren't just thrown in your face in every other scene for no apparent reason. Angela Dawe is perfect. Her easy flow between characters is great. I'm probably 25yrs late, but keep up the good work.

"What has caused Cameron keep women at arm's length"

Excellent narration for Cameron & Ainsley's story. We hear the treachery of Cameron's late wife & the extreme sacrifices he made for his son, Daniel. Ainsley's secrets are also revealed. Slowly, she rebuilds his trust in women, well one woman. It's another great installment of the Mackenzie family.

"Too Bad This Recording Was A Dud"

This Recording started out so beautifully and then it "burped" and then stopped to keep going back to the beginning over and over and would not continue. The other audio books in the Mackenzie Series were spectacular, just not Cameron's story. A total waste of my good money.

    Story
    "Jennifer Ashley at her best!"
Would you listen to The Many Sins of Lord Cameron again? Why?

Yes. In fact I did. The twists and turns of the characters were interesting enough that on second listening, I realized that there were things such as innuendos, suppositions, actions on which I hadn't paid enough attention the first time.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Many Sins of Lord Cameron?

Hiding behind the curtain, Lord Cameron notes that Ainsley is there and nevertheless does not reveal her presence. How this scene plays out is intriguing.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The memorable moment above is also my favourite scene.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

This latest story from Jennifer Ashley is a teaser which must be enjoyed!
