Publisher's summary

A renowned rake, Cameron Mackenzie doesn't care if Ainsley Douglas has a virtuous excuse for sneaking around his bedchamber. He only cares that she's at his mercy. One kiss at a time, he plans to seduce her. But what starts out as a lusty diversion may break Cam's own rules.

fun but not her best

while I love the series, this one isn't her best. it's entertaining for sure but it's hard to really like the hero who is self-centered, a little stilted, and only seems to want sex.

Single Dad finds love in Victorian romance

Widowed Cameron Mackenzie is wild but he has reasons. To all appearances, he also loves his horses as much as his son. Ainsley Douglas is also widowed, but, if appearances are to be believed, the opposite of Cameron - respectable, resourceful, cool and a perfect lady in waiting for the Queen. But when these two combine in an uneasy alliance they prove that appearances aren't everything.

A Royal series

I love the gruffness I’d Cam and his brothers. The women the family drama along with the live and lust. This is an awesome family of reformed racks to loyal husbands. I’d read this more than once.

I Am ADDICTED To & LOVE This Series-Read in Order

Would you consider the audio edition of The Many Sins of Lord Cameron to be better than the print version?

I've not read the books. I advise reading them in order, but each one -thus far- is a stand alone.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Many Sins of Lord Cameron?

Ainsley's clever thievery -past and current & learning of how Cameron received his scars.

Have you listened to any of Angela Dawe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, she is EXCELLENT in ALL the Highland Pleasures books.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but it took me several days... oh, to be able to listen to the whole series at once without interruption!

Any additional comments?

Great plot and sub plot...also glad for the hints of upcoming books in the series.

NOTE: Some strong language and a few sexual 'encounters'.

MMMMM! Lord Cameron!

Any additional comments?

I didn't start the series in order. I started with this book then went to the beginning. Cameron's story & Ian's story were my favorite.

Delicious, Sexy

I love a story of rich powerful men who need strong, smart women. There is intrigue, hot sex and great romance. Angela Dawe narrates a great story with a believable performance. Have listened to this 5 times since downloading it last year.

Delicious

Ainsley & Cameron's Happily Ever After has been my favorite of the series. So playful. So inevitable or destined. Narration perfectly paired the written words with fire & feeling.

Perfect Regency Romance

This series just keeps getting better and better. I didn’t think there would be a Mackenzie brother I would love more than Ian, but Cameron sure did come close. He is such a rake but deep down you know there is something more to him than just carnal pleasures.

I enjoyed the love story between Cam and Ainsley and thought she was the perfect match for him. Add to that the side stories of Daniel, Hart and the rest of the Mackenzie clan and you have a perfect regency romance book.

I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Special to Me

I'm not sure if others do this, but I tend to "cast" every book I read. Mostly with actors, however I have come across certain characters that remind me of people in my life. This book was (for a long time) my favorite I the series. As much as I adored the romance Iain and Beth shared, this book was always "the one". I've listened to this book so often I could not gather a guess at how many times.
I will apologize now for the horrible review I am typing.
Book 3 in the Highland Pleasures Series is a five-star read or listen. Jennifer Ashley has created such a wonderful family of characters. On to the next one...again. (Yep, the whole series is worthy of being heard or read many times over. )
