This is the first Nora Roberts book I can't get past the first hour. It is just awful. The narration (which I never complain about) is so bad, the writing is bad...I am just glad I only paid $5.00 for it. Makes the pain a little less painful...
Beautiful rich talent girl meets beautiful rich talented boy.... They fall in love!!!!! Girl has an eccentric father, who she loves and is fiercely devoted to, they face peril and destruction....Boy saves the girl and father from inevitable-doom, however to do so he must deceive the girl... Girl feels betrayed she questions her whole existence and the love that they shared in a week, he must win her back he does win her back, and they live.....happily ever after..
Characters that are believable.
She could have written about how real people behave.
I have no idea. I couldn't get past the awful characters.
First of all, I am NOT a fan of reality programs, especially those that detail the lifestyles of the rich and spoiled. The last thing I want to do is to read or listen to a book that's the equivalent.
Nora where are you? Come back and write a good book again. People want to read about people who behave like real people, not spoiled, silly, dramatic stereotypical "creative" nutcases. Just boring.
