She's running on empty...and he's ready to fill her up.
After watching his mother crumble in the face of heartbreak, Holden believes monogamy is bull. New week, new woman - that's just how he rolls. Too bad one taste of Sabra Harp leaves him salivating for more.
Sabra was ready for the climb from local news reporter to national anchor - before her pursuit of a story almost destroyed the Hot Rods, whose friendship she has admired from afar. Too bad they all hate her guts. That's okay; she despises what she's become, too...enough that she's just told her boss where to stick it.
When Holden drives a drunken Sabra home and puts her to bed, her blatant invitation almost has him following her between the sheets. She's willing to let him take charge in bed, friends included - and he's willing to listen to her amazing business proposition, which could rocket the Hot Rods to stardom.
Yet as his friends have paired off, Holden realizes that to participate in their polyamorous games without becoming a third wheel, he needs Sabra. And she needs him...oh, how she needs him.
Warning: contains a career-driven newswoman/yoga fiend who wants to get twisted up with a Hot Rod or five and a what's-mine-is-yours guy who likes to watch. One scene with nonexplicit drug use takes a Hot Rod to the dark side - good thing this group of friends always has each other's backs.

Say something about yourself!
Sabra is a reporter that almost hurt Bryce and Kaelyn in the previous book. She is trying to make things right by the Hot Rods and proposes a new idea to them they would get them plenty of publicity for the shop. Holden is not happy with her because he had told her not to air footage of Bryce and Kaelyn but he is unable to fight his attraction to her. The Hot Rods try to help him forgive her and start a relationship. I loved when Sabra gives Barracuda the toobrush/carbrush, it makes me cry everytime.
Gregory Salinas should get an award for this audiobook, he does an amazing job on an emotional scene between little Holden and his mother, it was brilliant and I was crying during the whole thing, he manages to portray an emotionally distraught woman without making it sound cheesy. Really great narration to go with an awesome book.
I may be addicted to audiobooks. I love my husband and my kids but I get a chance to escape with the books and be someone else for a while
Loved it. Can't wait for the next one. Hurry up and write it soon.
Ms. Rylon writes some of my favorite erotica fiction series. Her characters are realistic, appealing, and memorable. The plots are well-developed, with interesting conflict/suspense; and the sex is STEAMY! As for the narration, Gregory Salinas is one of the best I've heard. His vocal characterizations are brought to life with superb story telling, a consistent rich set of character voices, and a spot-on range of emotional inflections.
I totally love jaynes books, this one is just as amazing, be warned if you don't like reading about hot mechanics falling hard for their women or having a few laughs or ménage then this isn't for you, BUT I am and I love it I cant wait for the others to come out!!
Thank you Jayne for you WILD imagination keep it up!!
Great Books Don't Promote Violence
The character of Sabra had such potential - she was strong enough to admit to bad judgment, and processed vision and intelligence. I liked that she was physically strong as well as assertive and ambitious. Too bad she turned into a total wimp after meeting Holden.
Swinger and the rest of the Hot Rods enjoy hitting each other and their women partners, especially in sexual situations. However, when Sabra's old boss hits her in an attempted rape, the Hot Rods are outraged over the physical abuse. Really? What hypocrites!
If there had been more character development and less group sex, the Hot Rods series could have been entertaining. There was some humor and a cute puppy, but ultimately, it felt like soft porn with very little plot.
