Favorite Series

This series has it all! I've both read and listened to it and either way, you will adore the characters, laugh and cry with them, and then be at a loss as to what to read next after this epic finale. Can't wait for more from Melissa!

Finish it, it's worth it

Enough closure and open ends to be satisfied but still leave room for possible adventures for more books. Hoping for certain characters to get their own books continuing the timeline *fingers crossed*

I’m obsessed with this series!

I love absolutely everything about this series. The world building, the character growth. I am in tears that it’s over 😭

Overall a worthy listen

I enjoyed the story line. Some moments dragged especially in the 2&3 book. The use of the word “deadpan” in allll the books absolutely drove me crazy. I did like the relationships outside of the main characters. All in all I am happy to have listened as it was entertaining.

Reread even better than the first read

Laura and Gregory knocked this whole series out of the park. I loved the story and all the books the first time I read them, but hearing them through audio the 2nd time was even better!!

One of my favorite fantasy romance series

This series is a great mix of darkness and light. I adore the characters and Roehrich does an amazing job redeeming the seemingly unredeemable. I was able to predict several events; however, there were still twists that even I wasn't expecting. Horowitz is one of my favorite narrators. She is incredible at both female and male voices. I'd be happy with her being the sole narrator.

“One more chapter” will become your new mantra.

Lady of Darkness series has my vote. It has everything from absolutely amazing and well developed characters that you would either love or love to hate; to an incredible plot with wonderful magical world building. It’s a great story with love, betrayal, secrets, sacrifices, family and friendship. I just have to say it is addicting and hard to put down. “One more chapter” will become your new mantra when you dive into this incredible series.

THE BEST SERIES

I love this series so freaking much!!! The characters, their development and their banter are fantastic! Everything about this world I love and the performance by the voice actors made it that much better! This book series is perfection 😍

PHENOMENAL

Melissa has created amazing work once again! The narrators kept me just as enraptured with the story and the authors words and I felt everything like I was there right along the characters. I hate that I can never experience this world for the first time again, but rereads will definitely happen regularly.
