What does Jason Carpenter and Shayna Thibodeaux bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrators, Jason Carpenter and Shayna Thibodeaux, have amazing voices. Their tones are so sexy, seductive, smooth, perfect for the Greyson and Melanie. I love listening to audiobooks because they help me transport myself into the story and when the voice of the narrator, or narrators match the character’s personality, it feels way much better. And this happened with this audiobook. When Greyson was in his secret world, when Melanie was with her friends, it was almost like watching them. Amazing audiobook.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The finale!!! I love it!!

Oops! Katy Evans did it again! WOW!! This book!! WOW!! So hot!! Did I say hot? No, right!! THIS BOOKS IS SO FREAKING HOT! I NEED A GREYSON RIGHT NOW!

This book made me feel anxious. I couldn’t put it down, i even woke up at 1am to finish it. The storyline is very good and I only wanted to know what would happen when she finds out about the truth. I liked how they both doubted about themselves but when they were near to each other, they could only be more sure about their relationship, they could only love and worship one another. The way their relationship started wasn’t the best, but it was hot, so i don’t mind.

When I read Real Series, Melanie was shown as a happy and strong girl, who did whatever she wanted and who ever she wanted. I liked her. In this book, I could meet the real Melanie. She has insecurities and low self esteem. Thank God she found Greyson. Or Greyson found her. I love how she is when they are together. I love how he treats her. I love how he tries to be better for her, so she can be better for him. She found the man she always dreamed of and thought she would never find.

Katy knows how to write an alpha male!! Greyson is intimidating, smart, the real bad ass. He is also very sexy, domineering, and he has a lot of kink in himself. I’d have loved to know what he thought the first time he set eyes on Melanie. But knowing everything he felt and thought when they were together and how much he loved her was the best of this book. I love a man’s POV, and Greyson’s POV is one of the best i’ve read so far.

I love the interactions with Broke and Remy. It made me wanna read their books again. I was a little annoyed about Pandora, why couldn’t she be happy for Melanie?, but her last move saved everything and for that, I’m grateful. Mel’s relationship with her parents is so cool. I like them, they are great.

Even though there is one part of the story that is missing and I’d have loved to read it, I am so happy with the end. It is perfect. I want more! Can I have more Greyson for me? Pretty please?? Amazing Book Katy Evans. You books are the best!

Good story, bad female narrator!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Jason Carpenter did a great job... but Shayna Thibodeaux wasn't a good fit for this story. Her female character voice had an intensity that was a little off for me and her breathing got really distracting.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

The story is a great continuation of the Series and I really enjoyed the story.

Grayson because he was similar to Remy and you knew that he always had a good reason for what he was doing..

Grayson and I did Like Mel as well..

When he admitted to watching her for so long and saying I don't care how many people you have been with you're mine.

To really get a feel for this book I would suggest starting from book one which was real, mine, Remy.. then read this one so that you understand why Ms. Evans didn't talk about Remy and Brook so to much. it picks up a month before Remy and B get married but if you read Remy you know that book ended right after they got married.. I am looking forward to reading about Pandora's story.

SMEXY TRUE LOVE

What did you like best about this story?

The passion lit me on fire from the first moment they met and still hasn't stopped and I've been done with the book for an hour now. Nothing is more powerful than two soul mates finding one another. The energy, the exciting story never stopped. I haven't eaten all day because I had so many butterflies as the brilliantly written and narrated book played all day, almost non-stop. Great plot! I love that in a romance story. It's hard to find both.

Have you listened to any of Jason Carpenter and Shayna Thibodeaux ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Absolutely! Even the flashes back to her earlier books charachters were well explained and tied in wonderfully with this one. I am in the middle of the summer and can't wait for Christmas because the next book comes out in December! Katy, Katy, Katy..... how can you be so cruel! :) I suppose even brilliant authors even need to have a life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both narrator's were flawless. I've heard them both in other books and they both have the ability to do many characters in a story and give them true life. Great choices! I hope they do "Ripped" as well. I would love to hear them read any of my books.

I only occasionally write reviews. Only if the story has made me feel emotion deeply. I've read hundreds and hundreds of ebooks, and listened to my share as well. Katy Evan's REAL series of books are unsurpassed. I only wish that I could read more of them until her next comes out. Thank you, Katy, and DON'T MISS THIS BOOK,/Audiobook! DON'T MISS ANY OF THE REAL SERIES!

Great Story but...

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The male narrator was fine, but the female narrator, Shayna Thibodeaux was just awful. Her voice was so grating to the ears I never want to hear it again. Ever.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Melanie's character/personality is totally unlikable and the narrator's annoying voice didn't help endear her. Why did King even want her? He deserved a better woman then that dumb skank. She was dumb right to the end, and I only wish she had died from the fall.

Still a great story and worth the credit, especially if you love Katy Evans books. I just wish she had written Melanie differently because I don't respect or admire her and she is a most unworthy heroine.

loved it

amazing story and was sad to finish real and Remy but the girl narration was so awful omg .... I wish Andi arnt or someone young or anyone else had done it but this series is by far one of my all time favorites !!!!

Best one so far

I loved this book one of the biggest reason why was the narrators. Shayna Thibodeaux has taken a lot of grief from other reviews, but I love her. Her sass is the best! She did a great job and so did Jason Carpenter.

Not as good as real. it took me a long long time really trying hard to get through the first part without stopping and putting it aside to read something else. I did persevere and it got me hooked towards the end.
