Publisher's summary

Three months ago, amber tuner and independent prospector Lyra Dore made the find of the decade in an underground rain forest: amethyst ruins. But the very man she was dating stole her claim - and her heart. At least she has her artistically talented dust bunny, Vincent, to comfort her....

Amber Inc. CEO Cruz Sweetwater never meant to hurt Lyra. His affinity for obsidian amber gives him the ability to sense that she is his true love. But the ruins have mysterious powers, putting everyone involved with the project in danger. Only by trusting their psychic instincts will Cruz and Lyra survive - and surrender to the desire that binds them.

More from Harmony please Jayne

If you are like me and have completed the Harmony series available from Audible, you should be suffering from withdrawl symptoms. I listen to my books whilst doing my daily one to two hour walk. I have found the series very entertaining. This story is no differrent. It flows well, is not to sexually explicit, is very well narrated and acted. Each book does sometimes have an overlap of characters however each story is individual and not full of endless repition as some series can be. I would throughly recommend this book and series to anyone who likes to mix up their SF with romance.

Could not listen! Unhappy with "male" voice.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The "male" type voice from female narrator was terrible, so did not listen further. I have since learned after this first choice of my favorite Jayne Castle that most narrators are the same. I doubt I will ever buy another let alone find one that does not "grate on my ears".

Love the bunnies

This story is one of my favorites. I absolutely love the scene at the end when she looses it and yells. Then finishes it with the bunnies and paint in the hallway. Lol

so-so

Love the book, not a fan of 1 person narrators. Some women don't do male voices well.

Narration

Voice not my favorite. Speed pronunciation, and pitch are not to my liking.
I love the sweater stories the best. They are so fun.

Love those Sweetwater's.

I've read all of Jayne krentzs books over the years, but I really like the Sweetwater's stories when they are written.

Narration was not good

I've listened to this narrator before, and she's a bit of an acquired taste, but her voice for the fmc was awful. She read her with a high pitched, anime voice that made her seem like a whiny brat, rather than a woman who's been betrayed. All I could picture was a little girl bopping around with a long ponytail, short skirt and high boots (IYKYK).

Story was ok, but it was hard to get past my dislike of the narration.
