Lovely story, great narrator!
I'm a bit obsessed with the Scottish culture after this and another modern Romance featuring strong Scots as the main characters. This book doesn't disappoint. Prepare to be transported back to previous times, this is a time piece, but worth the listen. Will be listening to the second part for sure.

Great, easy listen
This book was fantastic. The narrator did very well swapping among tones for differeing characters and during differing emotions. The storyline was consistent and kept moving along. I will be checking out more stories by this author and performances by the narrator as well.
