It's like listening to a daytime soap

The good thing about this audiobook is at 22 hours long it mildy entertained me through a few days of tedious work. The bad thing is the extremely corny dialogue. It was like the melodramatic conversations in Days of Our Lives. I laughed out loud several times at the constant references to "with all my heart" and "to my very soul". The parts I enjoyed were the insights into the movie star lifestyle though I don't know how accurate they may be. The narrator does a good job with the very clunky conversations.

Worthy of TV Movie !

This book and Love Unrehearsed have a great base story. They challenge all the emotions and are sexy without all the graphic detail.

The narrator is excellent. Highly recommended.

Notting Hill

Would you listen to Love Unscripted again? Why?

Already have. Fun story, great performance, great love story, and plenty of conflict. Story reminds me of Notting Hill or even Pretty Woman.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Love Unscripted?

Hmmm...too many.......may spoil it for listeners.

Which character – as performed by Madeleine Maby – was your favorite?

Loved Ryan of course! Maybe a Leonardo, Matt Damon, Bradley Cooper...powerful movie star but kind and down to earth in real life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Sure! If I could, I certainly tried!

Story was drawn out in some areas, but I still loved it!

Okay, so the book starts off great, really great, you can see these characters in your minds eye and it is attractive..but as the story moves on I found the female lead to be a bit annoying and pathetic...I did like the story twists although they were not exactly shocking..but to me the book started off hot and ended with a wimper...so i gave it a 3 star rating..not sure if i will buy the next book in this series..

My favorite listen!

Of all the audible books I've listened to, Love Unscripted and its sequal (Love Unrehearsed) are the ones I have truly enjoyed the most. A wonderful modern love story, where the characters are real and dynamic. Author Tina Reber has a gift for writing dialog that is witty, fresh, and real, while narrator Madelleine Maby gives a terrific performance. Secondary characters are also interesting and I found myself drawn in to the lives of Ryan and Taryn--I really cared about them. I have listened to both novels twice now (which is not something I usually do) because I enjoyed them so much. If a good love story is your thing, give this a listen!

Eliminate the tremendous overuse of the words "my body" and gratuitous, awkward sex scenes

Taryn is an independent woman with realistic issues

No accents, nice tempo, pleasant tone

Contrived, too long sex scenes don't really contribute to the plot

This book has everything, romance, suspense and adventure. worth every minute of listening time. keeping it

Hopeless Romantic

I have read this book in paper countless times and now got it to listen to on my treadmill. If your a romance junkie this is just the book for you. Tina PLEASE put out the next book.

Taryn and Ryan's character have such great dialogue. The supporting characters are also well developed.

Too many, too important to the story to tell.

She does Ryan's character very well.

Just listening to Ryan and Taryn's relationship unfold was very moving.

The narrator did a great job. I love this book and have read it several times already. Listening to it was so much fun. I noticed that many of the passages were changed from what was written in the book, because I followed allowing with the narrator. I liked the changes.
