Started out great...

It started out really good but got old and tiring to me. That is why the 3 stars. good for half the book.

Where did this come from?

My first listen of a book by Tina Reber. Enjoyed very much! Romance at it's best. An easy romance with great interaction between the charactors. Also listened to "Love Unrehearsed", the 2nd book in the series. Equally as good!

....You won't be disappointed - Try these 2 books, if you like Romance.....

An 8 hour story in 22 & 1/2 hours

This was a cute story. A nice love story. Likeable characters. But it could have been told in about 1/3 of the time. Way too many discussions on how she knows someday he will realize he belongs with a starlet not her. The villains in the first half of the book disappear in the second half with no further comment and new villains take their place. Not sure why. And both main characters spend a bunch of time talking about trust but both lie to each other.

At it's heart this is a simple love story. Boy meets girl, lots of angst on both sides, boy and girl are separated by forces beyond their control, boy wins girl. A story most romance writers tell in 8 or 9 hours -- 10 or 11 hours if there are lots of explicit sex scenes, which this did not include.

So, this is an entertaining book. Just way too long.

I really enjoy this narrator. She does a very good job.

So much angst, could lose some of it. Taryn seemed very suspicious of all men.

This is the first book in my vast collection of audible books, every few years I relisten to my favorites. I think that gives this book high praise.
Ms. Maby is an excellent narrator

Eliminate the tremendous overuse of the words "my body" and gratuitous, awkward sex scenes

Taryn is an independent woman with realistic issues

No accents, nice tempo, pleasant tone

Interesting idea and likeable characters

Contrived, too long sex scenes don't really contribute to the plot

Great read. heartbreaking and yet romantic

This book has everything, romance, suspense and adventure. worth every minute of listening time. keeping it

Hopeless Romantic

I have read this book in paper countless times and now got it to listen to on my treadmill. If your a romance junkie this is just the book for you. Tina PLEASE put out the next book.

Loved the series!

What made the experience of listening to Love Unscripted the most enjoyable?

Taryn and Ryan's character have such great dialogue. The supporting characters are also well developed.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Love Unscripted?

Too many, too important to the story to tell.

What does Madeleine Maby bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She does Ryan's character very well.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Just listening to Ryan and Taryn's relationship unfold was very moving.

The narrator did a great job. I love this book and have read it several times already. Listening to it was so much fun. I noticed that many of the passages were changed from what was written in the book, because I followed allowing with the narrator. I liked the changes.
