Fantastic love story! Best Epilogue Ever!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Melanie Moreland. The narrators were excellent and really brought the story to life. The story of Avery and Daniel was so sweet and full of such love for each other. A fast paced romance for them works well and it’s a fun journey to read. But that epilogue was the best ever!!! I’ll never forget it.

Beautiful insta love story
Melanie Moreland is my comfort reads, and this was no exception. Her instaspark series has been a delight so far. This was a just a fluffy, tooth rotting sweetness. It's instant connection, steamy and low angst. John Lane and Tatiana Sokolov did amazing job as usual in narrating the stories, she chose such a great duo!!!

Some fluffy sweetness from Ms Moreland
If you could sum up It Started with a Kiss in three words, what would they be?
Angst light. Drama light. sweetness overload.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
It was enjoyable. I'm not a writer, and have only an opinion or expectation of what an author's metier seems to be vs what's in the next book. I have read (ie. listened to!) every one of her books. I loved The Contract. Beneath the Scars was also very well written too.Over the Fence was fun and funny. And, touching. Into the Storm? They all have two things in common. Broken soul meets Broken soul. Each heal one another with loads of sex, dramatics, and interference from others. This one was not her usual ... more like semi-broken spirited soul (she's a bit of a freak) meets a strong ex nerd type and they fall in love. Then, that's all they do. Be in love and boy does that happen freakishly fast too. All in all, I kept waiting for SOMETHING to happen... something big to turn the book's cotton candy framework into something I could sink my teeth into. It never happened. All in all a sweet story. It almost felt like MAYBE, just MAYBE, Ms Moreland trotted out the first book she ever wrote a decade ago and jazzed it up with some relevant 2017 activity like cell phone, texting, etc and threw it out at us to see if a sweet love story might fill a few hours while we waited for her next REAL new book. And, I do not mean to be rude at all. Just expressing how it felt listening.

For readers: this is such a sweet book. Don't miss it JUST because there's no angst or dramatics. There is a little, I promise, but it's SO weak and fleeting, and there's so much HEA it's given me a cavity! ;)
