Publisher's summary

A woman drowning in sorrow. Invisible.

The man that sees it all. Sees her.

The only thing that gets Charlotte Prescott through the day is the haunting eyes and magnetic voice that uplifts her in the subway station every evening.

All Montgomery Logan wants to do is ease the pain of the woman he feels a strange, protective draw to. He serenades her from afar, knowing their worlds will never intersect.

Until the day they do. And everything changes.

Will their differences make them stronger or tear them apart?

Contains mature themes.

Just what I needed

This is such a sweet love story. Sometimes you just KNOW that a certain someone is meant for you. This is one of those stories. A story that can help heal a heart. Another hit for Melanie. Aiden and Maxine were also excellent and brought the story to life.

Loved everything about this man.

Montgomery Logan was a man I loved from the start to the finish! He was steady, sweet, talented and caring. He never faltered in how he cared for this woman who had caught his attentions while he sang in the subway. It turned out he would only sing there because she would pass through on her way home at night. He saw that she was not happy and seemed to be very down most times, so he would sing to her. How sweet! All the money people would give him, he would donate to a food bank or a homeless shelter. His main job was teaching math to six and seventh graders. He also would perform at different clubs from time to time, but he mostly preferred to write songs. This man was not after fame or fortune, but that's what he receives later. Charlotte, or Lottie, worked for her father in a job she hated. She only worked for him because she was seeking the love and affection of parents who had forgotten about her because her older brother had died. Her father and mother seemed to hold it against her that her brother was gone, although this really was not the case. She meets Logan and they grow close and fall in love. He is great support for her and makes her life happier. They find out she has gotten pregnant and he ask her to marry him. He gives her a strong solid foundation and he turns out to be very good for her, as she is for him. This was a nice listen and ended with a wonderful HEA. I was so very happy for the both of them and how things worked out with their family and friends. If you want a sweet book this one does not disappoint! Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell are two of the best performers in the business and well worth a listen.

♥️ I LOVED THIS LOW-ANGST WONDERFUL ROMANCE ♥️

Lottie is a 26 yr old lost girl living her dead brother’s life because he no longer could.. it’s a thankless job working unappreciated in her father’s company.. used, ignored, downtrodden. The only highlight in her gray world is when she hears and sees the talented sexy musician in the Subway on her way home who always seems to be playing just for her. And, when Lottie needs him the most, he is there ready to catch her.. and it’ll change both their worlds. There’s a soul-to-soul caring connection, a tender passionate love filled with sweet truths, understanding words, sizzles and hot sex.. and so so much more.

And, as I listened to the dual POV telling of this sweet romance that had a bitter father at its core, I really didn’t want anything to go wrong in Logan and Lottie’s lives because they were so loveable and perfect for each other. They just fit from the start, there was no angst between them and they were always there for one-another. Logan supported Lottie and gave her the strength to reach for her dreams and Lottie was the main part of Logan’s dreams.. she inspired his love songs and inadvertently helped his career too.

Worth a credit? Yes it’s a very enjoyable all heart love story.. and it’s a story of a family forgiving.. and healing.. and finally moving forward after a son’s premature death. The pace of this well-written romance was perfect and the underlying angst from Lottie’s father cast only a shadow on true-love. The narration by Maxine and Aiden enriched the story, brought the characters and the feels to life and made this a memorable listen. But I must admit, I personally didn’t love the cover.. so my image of sex-on-legs Logan was different.

Loved this book

MM did it again. I loved this book. Next to Contract it’s just about my favorite. I love the character development. Logan was so amazing in handling Lotte. Lotte was so off but she had a streak in her that Logan gave strength to.

There was just enough angst. The lovers never had a huge fight or disagreement and I loved that. No one left. I loved that. Their relationship started with a bang and just moved forward.

My favorite part was Logan telling off her father. It was dynamic and so truthful.

This book was 5 star in every way.

Such a sweet story. Logan is beyond the good, confident guy. He knew what he wanted and pushed for it.

Number One Heart

I enjoyed this book. Thank you. I found it amazing that the parents went so long without counseling.
To say their misguided grief went on far too long for would be an understatement. I love Logan for everything he endured. I loved the heroine as well. so again, Thanks. I will now listen to it again.
