Another beautiful chapter in the lives of the Phoenix pack
This series immerses you into a fabulous shifter world, and doesn't disappoint through character development, action, sex and romance. Each book sucks you further in. I have listened to them all multiple times, and at each end I can't wait for the next story.

Reels you in within the first chapter!

This book had me sucked in within the first chapter. You know you've got a great book when you listen along and realize you've been listening for 2 hours straight! The mixture between hero action and hot sexy action leaves you wanting more. I love that Taryn is a complete smart ass and tells it how it is. She's bold and not afraid to speak her mind. Especially when it comes to a hot,scary shifter male. The attraction builds through out the book and definitely does not leave you disappointed.
I am very picky with narrators I have my favorites and have a hard time adjusting to new ones. For me Jill Redfield did an awesome job! She really became the characters. I will surely listen to books narrated by Jill Redfield in the future. I hope that the next book that comes out has the same narrator! It would not be the same with out.

Great performance, good story
The basic plot was very good, the writing excellent, and the narrator was fabulous. This exciting shifter story had interesting, credible characters. My problem with the novel is the overemphasis on dominance and rough sex. It rather offended my feminist sensibilities and downplayed what an important contribution Taryn made to Trey's life and the survival of the pack. She is a wonderful example of a woman who understands her own self worth, but who can lay her ego aside for the greater good. I could have done without Trey's obsession to "own" her body, as if her love and support weren't enough.

Really Good…
I thought this was a really well rounded book. The narrator did a great job. The storyline was quick complete, I was laughing out loud on many occasions. I liked the couple’s connection and their growth, personal and together. Warning…there is a lot of sex, caution to some,it may seem forced but view it in the light the author intends
