Publisher's summary

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes a mesmerizing tale of love in the big city.

Landlocked in Manhattan, rugged seaman Zack Muldoon needed a tough, no-nonsense lawyer to save his kid brother's delinquent hide. Public defender Rachel Stanislaski was not what he had in mind - until he discovered there was a lot more to the beautiful, coolheaded attorney than met the eye...and found himself falling for her, hook, line, and sinker.

Great book!

I was pleasantly surprised by the narration. Before I purchased the book, I read a review by a reader who was very disappointed that the accent had been dropped by the narrator in this book. I thought it was done exactly right. Rachel was born in America, so English was her first language, unlike the older Stanislaskis siblings. Just a great romance. Thanks Nora Roberts and Christina Traister.

Dropped the Foreign Accents!

Would you consider the audio edition of Falling for Rachel to be better than the print version?

No they changed the accent from luring a lady, ruined the whole rest of the series for me from Luring A Lady

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Christina Traister?

Love Christina Traister narrating, however she dropped the accent in book 3 and 4!

Falling For Rachael - Great Book in a Very Fun Series

I highly recommend this series of books be listened to in order to fully enjoy the experience. This book was great and I am about to start the next in the series as soon as I post this! These are very light (no crazy suspense or big mystery) and easy stories that are creative with well developed and interesting characters. Then add the romance angle as only Nora Roberts can do them and enjoy!

What do you expect not too good not her worst

Not one of Nora Roberts best but not her worst! After too many murder mysteries this was a nice change of pace

This is perhaps the, I don't know how many, time I have read this story. May I just say it is terrific. All the stories in this series are but this one has a particular place for me. I love how just when someone is feeling like life just doesn't matter any more, something happens to change everything. There are many elements to this story that keep me coming back. As I don't want to spoil anything ... just read it, you won't regret it.

I highly recommend this story to 14+ due to some mild sexual content.

3 is not the charm, this one ruined the series.

What would have made Falling for Rachel better?

Almost any other personality type for Rachel’s love interest…any other personality type…

What do you think your next listen will be?

Sandra Brown

Which scene was your favorite?

When Rachel slugged her would-be suitor.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Falling for Rachel?

The scene where Rachel meets her "love interest".

Any additional comments?

When Nora's good, she's without parallel...but when she deviates from her norm and attempts to sell her readers something we just don't want, or simply don't have the stomach to buy...well...
