I strive to give unflinchingly objective detailed reviews so you don't need to waste your time and money, unnecessarily, on mediocre titles.
I liked the book, it was quirky and had some great lines. It's lengthy but a light read. It's a compendium of most of the "case files", so get this book then fill in any missing stories. They really should list all of the stories to prevent you from buying duplicates.
This book had to be one of the funniest books I've listened to all year. The premise is very unique. I found myself laughing out loud several times. Definitely worth a credit.
It was so funny! I thought the first few books had moments that were seriously laugh out loud and I thought the narrator did a fantastic job. The potato men, cupid, the Easter bunny just so good! I'm not a fan of the whole love triangle trope but everything else was great.
I think maybe Eve Langlais, or Milly Taiden would probably be the closest authors I can think of.
I have not but I'm looking for more of them. She was really good.
The Easter Bunny trying to off himself and the potato men. I was laughing so hard with the potato men.
I would love more Cynthia St Aubin books on audio. I'd never read her books and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked these.
I originally bought the first three books and fell in love with both the author and her quirky characters. I can't get enough of the sarcastic interactions and the ridiculous situations! Luckily, this book has all seven! Even though book 7 ties things up, I'm hoping there will be more books in the series or possibly a spin off with a certain demi god.
Get rid of the cursing as it has no purpose and the sex is gratuitous. Without these the characters and stories have a chance. As it is I saw 11 more hours to go and just couldn't do it. A real waste of time. Disappointing.
