Great story

Well written story. Characters are relatable. Serious subject told with a little humor. 💘 this!

Great story, but....

Great story... bad narrator. Since this was the first in this series... don't understand why it was released at this site out of order.
Unfortunately... the same narrator is reading the last in the series. Couldn't they have picked someone better?

I really enjoyed Cal and Penny's story, Mallery does it again. I strongly reccomend this series. The characters emotions come across strongly you can't help but feel for each of them as they find their way back to each other. A very touching romance.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Because I listened to this book over a few days of travel, I can't really imagine listening to it all at one time. I like chocolate too - but small bites are often the best.

Fun listening

Really cute love story between the exhusband and wife. There were times I just wanted to wack Cal stupid so that he would wake up and grow up. I also wanted to punch the hateful Grandma, Gloria. Her nastiness seemingly coming from nowhere just made me uncomfortable. I suppose, it is not a traditional romance without a nasty female character or two making the couple's lives difficult. I bought the whole series on sale so looking forward to reading more on the Buchanan brothers.

Left me hanging...

The story’s main connection was the unborn baby, yet at the end of the book we never got to meet he or she. A very big let down.

Very entertaining. Easy to listen to and I found myself wanting to go in the car to listen to more. I plan on listening to the rest of this series.

A Great Series Starter

This was my first Susan Mallery book and I am hooked. A little predicatable, but you have to love the characters, so it makes it ok. This is a sweet and sexy story of what real love should really be about. Getting over the past and forgiving past sins. It's all wrapped up nicely and introduces characters you'll love in the next books in the series.

I adore these stories from Susan Mallery. Not only does she create a world that is interesting and exciting she creates characters that are real! I love her series books because she leaves no loose ends. Mallery has a way to keep you coming back time and time again.
