Sweet Summer Read

Great story about a family who learned to have confidence and build strong futures after their struggles. Lillian was sweet and fun of wisdom as she guided her family to find their way. Wonderful summer read!

Good story, terrible narrator

I enjoy this authors books but they alway use this particular narrator. I can’t stand her voice or her tone

I loved this book and wish there was a sequel. Very well written, believable main characters. Heart warming growth of both Harlow & Robin. Highly recommend!

Loved it.

A thoroughly wonderful listen. I enjoyed every moment of this book. A grown woman who has finally had enough of everyone in her life acting like spoiled petulant children does the unexpected. She packs up and goes to visit her beloved elderly, brilliant loving aunt. Basically she runs away from her adult children, ex-husband and best friends all of whom constantly expect her to fix everything for them and do their bidding. It’s a winding road to Robyn rediscovering herself, what she wants and taking control of her own destiny. Oh and finally for all those around her to grow up themselves, Truly loved this listen.

Susan Mallery , enjoyable author

While I enjoy Susan Mallery’s writing , the narrator does the book no justice, I even sped up the narration but it didn’t help .

I really enjoyed this book! I highly recommend it. I even laughed out loud a few times.

Really enjoy the speaker

I appreciate her voice and am amazed at the different qualities she presents. I also enjoyed the story. While the kids were self-absorbed initially, they learned from their experiences.
