I accidentally listened to this series out of order but quite honestly, it didn't make that much of a difference. The books were creative and sweet. Definitely wouldn't mind a sequel to all four of them!

Would you try another book from Susan Mallery and/or Therese Plummer?

I would try another book by Susan Mallery and Therese Plummer.

The Buchannan series was good. I received book three in the series for free and feel compelled to complete the series. It was not the best novel, but it's worth continuing the series.

Therese Plummer was a great narrator. I would listen to other books narrated by Therese.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Gloria Buchannan was by far my favorite character. Gloria wears the saying "that evil bitch" on her sleeve. She was evil!!! However, her antics carried the storyline, which made this a great book. No one really gave Gloria a taste of her own medicine, so I will keep listing to the series, cause I have a feeling it's coming.

What about Therese Plummer’s performance did you like?

Therese was able to have a different voice/tone for each character. It made it much easier, because you knew exactly which character was speaking. Also, she portrayed Namomi character very well.

Did Delicious inspire you to do anything?

No, not really. The book wasn't awe-inspiring.

Good listen

It was well written and well presented. I enjoyed it. Easy to follow with enough characters to be interesting but not so many you have to keep trying to figure out who is being talked about.

Good story

I enjoyed this book and would definitely explore other reads by this author.

Fun

A fun and easy listen. The narrator was especially great, one of the best I've heard.

Decent

I felt like the narrator sometimes made it sound like the characters were from New England rather than the North West. The book was decent but it didn't keep me at the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen.

DELICIOUS

I loved this book, her writing is very similar to Susan Elizabeth Phillips which I love. I downloaded the other 3 books in the series and looking foward to a good listen. I wish they would add more downloads from this author, I made the request. I hope to find more funny, romantic books.

From the start a fun listen!

I loved that this was set in Seattle. The characters were all interesting. The story was full of humor and thoughtful insights.
I loved hearing a Susan Mallory book narrated by Therese Plummer. She is my favorite narrator.

It has been hard for me to find any books I liked after the Virgin River series, While this is not as good it held my attention and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next book.
Therese Plummer is the BEST narrator. Actually look to see what she is narrating and choose books based on that.
