Triple Falls wasn’t at all what it seemed, nor were the men that swept me under their wing. But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets. Secrets that cost us everything to keep. That’s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You can’t re-live your own love story, because by the time you’ve realized you’re living it, it’s over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to. Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence, due to my illness, and all were punished.

the narrators accent for the American character would mush into the other accents and would make it difficult to differentiate which character was speaking.

I’ve read this series and loved it! Listening on audible and it’s wonderful!

I tried, but I just can't
I really enjoyed the storyline
and the writing is smart. I just couldn't listen to the narrator anymore. it was becoming painful. she was over dramatic at odd times. my brain hurts.

Story was good, performance was painful
The yelling and dramatics were hard to listen to. I agree it was distracting. I also had a hard time imagining the women were all in their twenties as they sounded very old.
One thing I don't like about Robert's writing is that the sex scenes are sometimes over the top and she ALWAYS has to repeat words three times for emphasis when I think it can be accomplished by other means. It happens in every book I have listened to.
