Great YA Fantasy Beginning
This is a very short prequel to the Redeemer Chronicles and it was written so well that it has sparked a desire in me to start the series. I enjoyed this tale. I recommend it to others who love fantasy stories. I enjoyed the characters, their descriptions, and their dynamics. Teralyn Davis's narration was great and a joy to hear. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Fascinating
This was a fascinating clean fantasy prequel with a touch of romance. It seemed to be a combination of Snow White and red riding hood in a fantasy setting. I was very impressed with the way the author wove everything together and made it interesting! I’m definitely going to read more of her books!

A great introduction
This is a very short listen, but it really packs a punch. I really got a great understanding of the characters, and it definitely piqued my interest. I can’t wait to dive into the rest of the series.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of Julie C. Gilbert’s stories that I have listened to, and this one is no exception.
Teralyn Davis’ narrations are new to me , and I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to listen to the next one.

Fun & Quick Prequel
This is a really fast read at just under an hour long. I really enjoyed the fill in with this telling of the story around her brothers and the contract with the Huntsman. It really is a fun and clean series and I look forward to where the story goes.
This is the second time I've listened to this narrator and although I think she did a great job with the different voices and acting... I did find the pace a touch slow but it was a simple fix of bumping it up to 1.25x speed and then it was perfect!

A very great beginning!
and are usually do not read books like this , but I must say right after I read this one I downloaded the redeemer Chronicles books one through three and wait to listen . I was so surprised by how good this book was . I highly recommend it to those who like unknown realms and magic . you love this book ! When Marinas brother Jack pays for a Huntsman to hunt her down and killer Daniel is given the task and he is motivated to do it as it would bring him esteem and respect, but is Marina really guilty of all her brother sells or is he the one who should pay? In this book they have Shapeshifter’s and conjure

Prequel to Redeemer Chronicles
This is an intriguing beginning of the mystical fantasy of the Redeemer Chronicles. I felt the emotional contention of the siblings and the huntsman, Daniel. The writing is expressive and gripping. As is the narrator, she did a good job of emphasizing the tension in the air. I would rate this as pg for medieval fighting. Everything thing else is clean, no bad language, sex, or drugs. I received this audio book and this is my honest review.
