This whole series is amazing. I bought both audio books then had to get the rest on Kindle. So worth it!

An incredible start to an AWESOME series!

As a Baptist minister's daughter, I'm well aware of the biblical book of Revelations that was made to St. John the Divine, half-brother of Jesus the Christ. I must admit to enjoying writer Nikole Knight's special take on the role of angels as administrators, fighters, revelators, and protectors. I nearly passed out with joy to discover this is only book one of a series that is six books strong! With this wonderful first audiobook, splendidly narrated by Kirt Graves, I am PRAYING all the other books in the series will find their way to audio format. In her (audio)book 'Revelations, Fire & Brimstone Scroll 1', we meet Riley Shepard who has had a really rough 19 years of life--from the abusive foster home system to confinement in a psychiatric ward, to a malicious church lady he lives with before escaping to college. And all is not well at college! He encounters bullying from his roommate and is generally push around because of his social ineptitude. But all turns around for him when he discovers his guardian angels--three of the most incredible characters a book could ever have. This premise is absolutely mind-blowing! The world-building is phenomenal! The character development is astounding. Just when I was getting exasperated with Riley's doormat behavior, he starts to 'grow a pair' and it's AWESOME! That new-to-me writer made this Air Force veteran's Memorial Day extra special! Thanks so very much, Mx. Knight!

OK, so maybe I’m late to the party, but I’m ready to crank it up!

I had a good excuse: This was a new-to-me author and I received an AUDIOBOOK ARC from GRR. Woot!

So, back to the party!
Guest of honor: Kirt Graves! I could not imagine a more PERFECT NARRATOR for this book! His cadence, variety of voices will make you raise your glass in a toast! 🥂

Cocktails: Noel & Jai...two hot AF guardian angels. One packs a punch...the other is smooth and sweet. Both make me feel divine!

Appetizer: Gideon...a guardian Angel. I got to the food a bit late, but, let me tell you that I’m having a hard time moving from this heavenly spread!

The one I can’t keep my eyes off of: Riley...timid, submissive, insecure, kind—but what is it about him??? Neither I nor the guardian angels can deny him. Why?

Well, the WHY is the reason for this story & it’s something you don’t learn until almost the end—it’s worth it!

The entertainment: Watch Riley slowly, slowly, sheds some of his repressed ideas of “self.” Watch his angels care for him, touch him, hold him. Watch Riley fight his inner demons. Watch them. Watch them build up heat...but don’t expect steam here.

The after party: Why, that’s book two 😉

Absolutely amazing!

So well done! I couldn’t stop listening! The story just sucks you in and you become attached to the characters right off the bat. I haven’t been this enamored with a book, or series, ever.

Great Start to New Series

The story grew on me. There's a lot of action, twists and turns in the story with multi-faceted characters. Also, Kirt Graves is one of my fav narrators and I really enjoy listening to him because he makes you feel as if you're apart of the story. Definitely worth checking out.

Really good

Finished the whole series and it is a worthy read. I literally skipped a weekend’s worth of sleep so I could keep listening it was so good.

Good start to a new series.

Overall I really liked the book. Apart from the 10 hours or so of Riley’s self-loathing, ( which was exhausting). I’m much more interested in seeing where book 2 will take us. I adored Noel and Jai. Narration was good. My only real complaint was that Riley’s character read less like a 19 year old than a 10-12 year old.

Great from start to finish

The narrator did a great job from start to finish. The story is compelling and kept me listening for hours when I should have been doing other things.

fascinating

Revelations by Nikole Knight is the first book in the Fire & Brimstone series.  This is a fascinating story filled with angels, demons, Nephilim, and the humans who have no clue with whom they are sharing the world with.  Its a slow burn poly romance filled with emotion, pain, healing, and the awakening to one's true self.   So exciting and truly amazing... I want to devour the whole series now.

Kirt Graves narrates the audio book and does a fabulous job. Clear recording and entertaining performance. Loved it!

Yes!

I don't know how Nikole Knight acquired her knowledge about abusive parenting, but she is chillingly spot on. Riley's issues with touch and skewed thought processes are haunting!
I'm SO looking forward to learning more about Riley and his guardian angels, I hope the next book will be out soon!
