We’re amazing).

But honestly…what’s more fun than dragging a hunter off to the dark side?

Warning: This is a chaotic monster and a chaotic human. Stuff happens. People die (but they were bad, so it doesn’t matter, right?) and there’s plenty of humor alongside a budding romance.

Cute love story

Not the best of this authors work but always worth the read. Michael is always wonderful. I feel this story didn’t have as deep or as wide a world to fall into but it was a good listen. Alice doesn’t disappoint

Great fun

Very enjoyable book with fun characters. Sir Reginald FTW! There are several memorable scenes that will definitely stay with me lol. I read the ebook first, but it's one of those books that is even better in audio.

Michael Ferraiuolo uses the same voice for Lake as he does for Leland in the Hitman's guide and for other characters in various books as well. Could try to mix it up on occassion.

Fun

This was fun and the usual terrific narration by Micheal only enhances this story

Unique and fantastic!

Winters has created a modern day world with unique creatures terrorizing humans. The plot is vey interesting, the story moves at a good pace, and characters are well thought out. Lake is a beautiful, monster hiding out in plain sight. His antics are funny and ridiculous at times, but we get a feel for the heart of gold buried waaaay under the exterior. Declan just wants to be normal. They both realize that normal isn’t for them. The story kept me guessing, had me eagerly waiting for what was next, and ultimately left me feeling happy with the conclusion. There are enough questions about what the future holds to begin a great series, but it wrapped up with a happy for now feeling. Excellent. If you’ve read Winters other series, this has the same fun feel.

Good book but voice actor better

The book was good but the voice actor really made the story come to life and very entertaining. Gave each character their own personality.

Michael Ferraiuolo always makes these monster stories so entertaining. this is a great story written every well . Alice Winters never disappoints. Her books are loaded with laughter, a strong plot and hot sexy scenes. a great win for the good guys.

I love these characters!

All of Alice winters books are fun. But these boys are in the my top five. If you’ve never read any of her books this is a great place to start.

The banter is so much fun. The plot is good, it’s all well written. And the sex scenes fit naturally within and help advance the story.
