A Decent Start

I appreciate the introduction to affirmations for birth; however, with the very true statement of how many black women die during childbirth, it sounded a bit harsh. Regardless, I think this was a good introduction to affirmations for pregnancy & birth.

Very Informative

I enjoyed the information and look forward to applying it to my pregnancy and the birthing of my baby

First time mama ❤️

Listening to this really gave me a sense of peace and joy. Being that this is my first pregnancy I’m low key scared but I’ve always been big on affirmations. So grateful for coming across this gem! Thank you!!!

Affirmations were nice

While the affirmations were nice, there is a line about halfway through that says “while a majority of black moms die during childbirth…” and I rewinded a few times to make sure I heard correctly, and then I really couldn’t get past that. I know the black maternal mortality rates are really bad, but For an audiobook that is supposed to be helping with positive mindset, it is disheartening for the author to say a majority of black moms die during childbirth. I will likely use the affirmations but I probably won’t listen beyond that point or recommend this to my mom friends.

This book sparked fear immediately

The fact that the author wrote MAJORITY of black women die during child birth is irresponsible to women actively seeking positive affirmation how fucked up is it to hear this within the first 20 minutes of this book smh

lots of research not enough affirmations

I was hoping for more affections. Unfortunately the majority of this book was research or explaining what pregnancy is. Only the last 4 minutes had actual statements to practice.

What did I just hear!? I see why this was a free

Majority of women died during child birth? Who wrote this? What are trying to do to our self consciousness and self-esteem.
