Publisher's summary

Two best-selling Agatha Christie novels in one great audiobook!

Poirot Investigates a host of murders most foul - as well as other dastardly crimes - in this intriguing collection of short stories from the one-and-only Agatha Christie.

First there was the mystery of the film star and the diamond...then came the “suicide” that was murder...the mystery of the absurdly cheap flat...a suspicious death in a locked gun room...a million dollar bond robbery...the curse of a pharaoh’s tomb...a jewel robbery by the sea...the abduction of a prime minister...the disappearance of a banker...a phone call from a dying man...and, finally, the mystery of the missing will.

What links these fascinating cases? Only the brilliant deductive powers of Hercule Poirot!

The iconic Miss Marple must investigate the case of a girl found dead in Agatha Christie’s classic mystery, The Body in the Library.

It’s seven in the morning. The Bantrys wake to find the body of a young woman in their library. She is wearing an evening dress and heavy makeup, which is now smeared across her cheeks. But who is she? How did she get there? And what is the connection with another dead girl, whose charred remains are later discovered in an abandoned quarry?

The respectable Bantrys invite Miss Marple into their home to investigate. Amid rumors of scandal, she baits a clever trap to catch a ruthless killer.

Stellar narrators D. Suchet and S. Cole

Great value to get two books in one, both with Stellar actor-narrators: David Suchet and Stephanie Cole. First book is a collection of short works, elements of which might sound familiar--Christie mined some of these stories for her later works. The Body in the Library has classic Christie settings--country house and seaside resort hotel.

Loved this!

What did you like about this: David Suchet is the narrator. He is the actor that plays Hercule Poirot in the films. He IS the character and is brilliant how he uses his accent, mannerisms and quirky characteristics to entertain the audience. You can just close your eyes and envision the story. Narration either makes or breaks it for me, and this was a winner. Very entertaining. I listened to most of the stories at least 2 times.

Great reading

Love Agatha Christi, and having the Poirot stories read by David Suchet was such a treat. Stephanie Cole also did a wonderful job with The Body in the Library.

Amazingly talented narrator!!!!

David Suchet’s performance is almost enough on its own to make this a pleasurable listen. Not that the meat of the mystery itself is lacking in any way.... but the narration is what really made this a memorable experience for me.
