Hard to listen to and kind of a waste of time...

I didn’t enjoy the reader’s voice so I ended up speeding it up just to get it over with. I really didn’t get anything out of it that isn’t already common sense.

This book is an excellent resource for anyone.

This is an interactive book that gives me the tools to reveal what is really driving the behaviour and how I can heal and have a better life. It's not so much food that is the fault, it's the way I choose to react to food. This book is an excellent resource for anyone.

First time trying audible and I like it!

I think this book offered good insights into food addiction. The reason I only give it two stars is that I haven't made much progress in my eating habits. I'm going to give it another shot and do the course a second time. If I improve, I'll come back and change my rating.

Very helpful and Easy to understand.

The book is about acceptance and learning to take good care of yourself. By eating the foods you desire when you are hungry the author claims you will melt to your natural size. The author will help you step by step to control your eating problem once and for all.

the Reader...

you can hardly understand the audio book because the reader is a robot. he skips multiple words in a sentence and it's too bad because this book could have been really important and valuable for many. what a waste.

Abysmal Narration...Why Can't I Give Zero Stars?

I have listened to many audio books. This was far and away the worst narration of one I've ever heard. The poor author. It's as if they hired the one person that they knew had a voice for radio but forgot to see if they knew how to read. Whatever good content may have been in the book gets lost in trying to follow the narrator's robotic delivery, mispronounced words, and mid-sentence pauses as he obviously is turning pages but there was no consideration to edit it pauses or even do retakes where needed. This was a wasted credit. I truly feel sorry for the author. They didn't deserve this abuse of their work.

I found this book to be really easy to listen.

The author of this self-healing workbook is not just an expert in the field of eating disorders and addictions. The author explains exactly what food addiction is, that there is a genetic predisposition to it, the psychological path that can lead to it, some of the neurology behind it and even the differences found in the brains of those with eating disorders.
