Good Story!

This was a good collaboration by Clare Lydon and T. B. Markinson. It was a lovely story about the developing love between the two main characters Saffron and Kristie. Trust was a big issue for both of them. Yet, communication was a big issue as well because neither one knew how to express how they felt for each other. The narrator was also very in how she changed her voice for each of the characters. Well done!

Pretty good, not amazing

I’m glad I listened. The story was mildly enjoyable but didn’t feel as fleshed out as it could have been. The narrator did a decent job. I could tell who was talking with the voice changes and the voice was pleasant. I don’t think I’ll listen to it a second time.

Perfection

This magical work of art transports you to an almost perfect seaside town where lessons are learned about trust, loyalty, disappointment and that a “forever person” can be found in a “forever place” where the walls of age and fame can come tumbling down.
My thanks to Claire Storey for her wonderful job of narrating and sharing her indescribably delicious British accent.

Three and a half stars

Okay I know the genre is rom com yet it was so implausible (who cares that much about celebrities?!) and the highs and lows of emotional roller coaster was exhausting. Best part was the setting and the more level headed (less melodramatic) characters such as the recently divorced sister of the 'lesbian icon' and the business partner of older romantic lead. Didn't like the emphasis of physical perfection of beauty. But yes it was merely a rom com. Just not a favorite example of one.

Loved it

I loved listening to this story. Two great authors turned out a great story. I felt like I was at the seaside, at the wine shop, hanging with the characters, etc. Narration was good. Worth the credit!
