Angsty!

This book had me talking out loud to the characters in frustration 🤣. It only shows how well written the characters are. Bailey frustrated me in her stubbornness and refusal to give Sky any amount of grace as she held on to past betrayal and hurt.
The two main characters are successful and powerful women and their families are endearing and insightful. The story is angsty, humorous at times and moves alone nicely.

Great New Premise!!

I loved the fact that this book had a different story line than all the other romance books!! Highly recommend!!

Excellent!

Loved the story and the excellent narrator Lula Larkin! The plot made very good sense. The main characters had chemistry off the charts and the supporting characters were excellent as well. Particularly the families that lovingly kept trying to get them together. It was very sweet! Well done!

Long

This maybe a book better read than listened to. For me the voices weren’t real and seemed forced onto the listener. The story itself was a bit long chapter 21 to end was the best.

Love & Fear-Will the past repeating it's self? Will coming out be at the cost of her business?

I enjoyed the narrator and the mutiple voices she played for each character and there were several :)

The author did a great job giving the 2 main characters emotional wounds from the past that caused the back and forth of both characters. They have to figure out how to fix the misconceptions they believed to be true.

Loved storyline

This storyline was much truer to life than most. Loved the characters and how the peripheral characters blended to make this book one of the best books I've read this year. Narration was great as well!

Difficulties of new lesbian relationships.

The characters, their relationship, and personalities clearly illustrate difficulties of beginning new lesbian relationships. I truly thought about how this lesbian love develops and identify
with some of the life lessons involved.

Rivals hidden passion

I love rivals to romance books. I love to see how chemistry between two people that dislike each other and then that hidden passion comes through. these characters brings all of that and then more. Excellent book Krystina Rivers and fabulous narrator Lula Larkin.

unlikable main character

I loved all the characters in this book except Bailey. she was a judgmental jerk for most of the book. she was constantly putting sky down and acting like a jealous man. the whole uncle Chester thing was nauseating too. what drew Sky to this idiot is a mystery to me.

Loving this author!

This is the second book I've listened to from this author & I'm definitely a new fan. Lula Larkin was great as usual too!
