Hilarious!

The voice performance was excellent as always. LOVE LOVE LOVE this series! Can’t wait to listen to the final book. The banter was top notch in this book. Wish there were more of these books than just 7.

I love this series
This is by far my favorite of the 6 books I’ve read in this series. I was laughing out loud through most of the end. Rumple is definitely one of my favorite characters thus far. I’m also glad we finally get to learn more about Honor. Little was known prior to this book and it was a good breakaway from allamar.

Another creative retelling
it's King Midas meets the Lord of the Rings and the huntsman. I enjoyed this and it was great seeing some levels of vulnerability of the Matriarch Mother Eville... I also appreciated the comic relief of Rumpelstiltskin...hilarious!!

Solid gold fun
Chanda has always made me laugh with her stories. But this one? I was downright chortling loudly quite often. I don't want to spoil the fun, so I won't give any details about my fave supporting character except to say "Sissy hands!!!". Once you find out who said that.... you will know.

Not as good as the others
I had to work to finish this one. The immediate damsel in distress and then when she was finally on her own it was slow. I did love the last few hours. The Axe and Sissy hands gave it a strong finish at least.
