Publisher's summary

The people we love are thieves. They steal our hearts. They steal our breath. They steal our sanity. And we let them. Over and over and over again.

They say you never forget your first love.

Mine was a homeless musician who wandered straight into my soul.

He was my first everything. And fourteen years later, I still can't get him out of my head.

He broke all my rules. He also broke my heart.

I watched him climb to stardom, cheering him on from afar. But I was never a fan; just a girl in love.

Like a tornado, he spiraled, leaving a path of destruction in his wake.

But love conquers all, right? It has to. Because here I stand, ravaged and ruined, needing it to be true.

We can't go back, but I want to. Back to the park. Back to when he sang only for me. Before he was famous. Before he shattered my heart.

I thought I knew everything about him. But I could not have been more wrong.

He promised me every tomorrow. And here I am, waiting.

And hoping.

Again.

Contains mature themes.

I really wanted to like this book.

I'm all for a great forever love story.. I was getting boarded with the story, characters, and the drawn-out drug addiction. I fast-forward through many parts of this book without missing a beat. This whole book could have been cut in half. Sometimes less is more.

True love waits! What a beautiful love story!

I laughed, I cried, I got angry. This book was a complete rollercoaster of emotions! But I would read it again in a heartbeat! Piper and Blu's relationship was complicated, severed for many years at times with no contact. But they ALWAYS found their way back to each other. Ugh. This book was pure magic!

Anxiety to the max

This book was great. Gave me a shit load of anxiety but brought awareness to many issues. Great story and happy ending. Life doesn’t have to be perfect for us to be happy.

A very heavy, toxic relationship

“We know we’ll have good days and bad days and that’s okay. That’s the magic of love. It doesn’t always have to be easy or perfect or normal. It can just be two people who believe in each other enough to be there for all the tomorrows.”

This book is veryyyyyyy HEAVY. The subject matter is definitely draining and hard to read at times. Like majority of this book is not happy or a good time. I really was not a fan of some of the things happening in the beginning of this relationship. I did not like the lack of choice at times and just had this feeling of despair for the characters. This had a very toxic, obsession-ish vibe about the relationship that did make it messy and hard to read at times. I really was not a fan of the beginning for this couple, I get why her family and friends reacted a certain way in the beginning. I went into this one knowing what this book deals with/what was going on with the characters and I honestly don’t know if that made the reading experience better/easier.

That said I do think this book got better as it went on. By the end of the book/by the epilogue, we have spent 21 years with this couple. This wasn’t my favorite by the author, but probably one of her better ones for me personally. I do feel conflicted on rating/reviewing this one because I don’t feel like it was a very healthy relationship, or I suppose romance. But I do think the story was compelling and good overall. I know people in my life who have relationships just like these characters so I do think the rep was done well. This is one of those books where I wish I could reach in and help the characters at times. I do think there were red flags throughout the story (in regards to a character not being in a healthy place) and I wish help was reached earlier for the characters…but like it’s a fiction and I get it. It was just hard to read at times and root for them as a couple every step of their journey.

But allllll of that said, I did feel a certain way about the journey and it’s why it was still 4 stars for me as a story. 😅

Twist turns and one hell of a ride

I listened to this book a few times now, it’s sad it’s sweet it’s like no other book I’ve read. Carian Coles writing pulls you in. You might not agree with her characters or their choices, but it’s always a wild ride that makes you think makes you cry and makes you fall in love. No Tomorrow is such a book. Mental health, substance abuse and love. All real and not spoken about.
Take the ride you won’t regret it,

Man I don’t want to list too many trope because it’s best to go into this not knowing.
I felt every single thing reading this. Carian just writes so well and so beautifully and unlike any other author. She brings such deep emotion into her stories, and I love it every time.

I felt heart break, love, anger, annoyance, happiness - I am leaving this book with heavy feelings in the best way.

I loved this so much and love that Carian brings such uniqueness to a story. She handles addiction and mental health well, and I felt so much for these two!

Evan(Blue) and Piper will live with me forever ♥️

This Audiobook Took My Breath Away. An Incredible Experience.

WOW! This is in my top 5 best audiobooks. This book takes us on the journey between 2 people with unexpected twists, highs, lows and everything in between. It is Aiden Snow and Jillian Macie’s fantastic portrayals of the characters that keeps us on an emotional rollercoaster throughout this audiobook.

Carian Cole does not rush this story. She gives it the time it needs to unfold and for this reason the audiobook is long and satisfying. An incredible experience which I could barely stop listening to to get enough sleep to continue listening for 2 days.

She killed my heart

I have read author Carian Cole in the past, I have favorite characters and I know she has this special way of bringing a story to life and you become lost and feel the emotions expressed in you heart.

With this story I took time before I picked it up because I knew the emotional roller coaster I would be stepping into, yet it was so much more this couples journey was such an intense situation where love, the non fairytale kind but the raw I will rip your heart out and keep it forever, with all books the twists come in different forms for this was the battle our Hero will fight for a lifetime and a heroine who will never give up because when love is as strong as theirs a choice will never exist.
