Keeps You Entertained

This book surprised me in good ways. There was a little more depth than you usually find in a lot of MC romances. The characters are great and pretty well developed. Enjoyed the story line greatly and am really excited to listen to the next book with Zeus. I already fell for him in this one so, I’m pretty stoked. As an introduction to Giana Darling, I was not at all disappointed.

the heroine is annoyingly weak

It started with a bang, and ended with a bang. But I feel like the middle is filled with petty arguments arguments that stretched the story.

The heroine is so weak at times, it makes me sick.

Epic Love

Giana Darling never does anything the conventional way and Lessons in Corruption is a prime example. Not only does it not follow the standard age gap blueprint of an older guy with a younger girl. But it also completely destroys societal conventions and determinations of right and wrong.

Cress is a newly separated high school teacher that truly has never lived a real life. King on the other hand is a seventeen old high school student that defines living life to the fullest. These two together is perfect match. Cress is a character that you initially don’t know if you even like. But it’s King that reveals her true self through his actions and devotion to her.

The story is pure magic.

Great intro to the series

I think this book definitely laid a great foundation for the rest of the books in the series, from this book alone, you can just tell its going to be a wild ride with this family.

Loved this book!!! I actually read the second book 1st and loved it so much that I came back and BOUGHT the first book because I didn’t have any credits… Well worth the purchase. An addicting forbidden MC romance!

After several book friends have recommended this series to me I finally gave in and couldn’t be happier that I did! Lessons in Corruption is a forbidden MC romance. The story is narrated by Savannah Peachwood in single female POV. Savannah did a fabulous job bringing this story to life with her sweet/sultry voice and powerful emotions.

Cress is 26 years old and living in a loveless marriage when she sees King across the parking lot in a grocery store and is drawn to him in an unexplainable way. Her sighting of him spurs her into action and finally leaves her husband. Just as Cress and King start a relationship he shows up in her classroom as one of her students and she immediately puts the breaks on anything further happening between them.

King is the son of the Fallen MC Club Prez. He may be 18 years old but he is a very mature 18 year old and the age gap didn’t bother me. King is wise beyond his years. He is devoted and protective of Cress and is in touch with his emotional side. His poetry reading/writing totally melted my heart. He is strong and confident and puts up with a lot from Cress but never once gives up on them despite her many objections. I will admit I was a bit frustrated at the repetitiveness of Cress objecting to their relationship. She was in one minute and out the next. Her attitude went back and forth over and over and drove me a little nuts.

I loved being introduced to the Fallen MC Club members. I’m eager to learn more about all of them. They are a made family who are protective of one another, and anyone the crosses them will regret it.

The only thing that could have made this story better is if it was told in dual POV and we got some of King’s POV. Regardless, I’m officially addicted to this series and I’m eager for Zeus’ story next in Welcome to the Darkside.

Lessons in Corruption by Giana Darling 💚

“Fit to me. Made for me. Bone of my bone.”

3.5⭐️
2🌶

This is the first book of the Fallen Men series and my first read by Giana Darling!

This book is a high school student/ teacher relationship troupe, which I don’t really enjoy personally. I struggled reading this because I couldn’t put myself in as the main character. I was really out of my comfort zone with this one, but I gave it a shot! However, I feel like if you like this troupe you will definitely like this book!

What I loved about this book though was the apple poems! 🍏😍 King sure does have a way with words and is a romantic! I also loved the way he stepped up and showed Cressida he was there for her and could be the man she needed! King was very protective and defended anyone who needed help!

BUT, Daddy Zeus 🥵🥵🥵 we got a few glimpses of him in this book and I’m so invested! I know the second book is about him so I can’t wait to continue to read more into the series!
