Publisher's summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor brings readers his darkest and most intriguing thriller yet - a terrifying story of espionage and betrayal - brilliantly paced with superb nonstop action.

Born in the shadows and kept from heads of state, there are some missions so deadly, so sensitive, that they simply don't exist.

When one such mission goes horribly wrong, a wave of dramatic terrorist attacks is set in motion. Their goal: the complete and total collapse of the United States.

With the CIA's intelligence abilities hobbled, former Navy SEAL Team 6 member turned covert counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath launches an audacious plan to infiltrate the terrorists' network and prevent one of the biggest threats the United States has ever faced.

Simultaneously, a foreign wet work team has been sent to California. Their target: one of Hollywood's most famous filmmakers.

While working on a secret documentary project, movie producer Larry Salomon has unknowingly exposed one of the world's wealthiest and most politically connected powerbrokers - a man with a radical anti-American agenda poised to plunge the nation into deadly, irreversible chaos.

As the plots rocket to their pulse-pounding conclusion and the identities of the perpetrators are laid stunningly bare, Harvath will be left with only one means to save America. Unable to trust anyone, he will be forced to go Full Black.

Intense and frighteningly realistic, Full Black is, hands down, Brad Thor's most riveting thriller to date.

I Had to read it after so many Left wing comments

I get curious when I see a political rant to a book left or right wing so I read it and see who is correct. This book lays out where we are and where we are headed as a society. I enjoy audible as they take my mind other places on my painful days during therapy. I enjoyed the book and it was easy to follow the plot is our society today just watch the news any station you pick. This book is written for the times we live in and you will enjoy it.

I seldom downrate novels for being unrealistic, ..

...but in Full Black protagonist and anti-terrorism operative Scot Harvath infiltrates a terrorist cell and literally saves the US. It is a wonderful espionage thriller that probably deserves 5 stars, but the extremely unlikely events cause me to award it 4 stars. Suspense is intense and sustained. Brad Thor is one of the best thriller authors.

Audio Critic

I've either read or listened to practically all Brad's books. While this book was good, I have to say that I did not care for the ending. Seems like the end rolls out in less than two chapters after you have gone through 30 to get there. Know there is a follow up based on the ending, but have to say the ending let me down.

Saving the World

This book moves so fast, it's over before it gets started. Bad guys are dealt with efficiently. The good guys are smart and not ruthless. The main character is someone you can like. Brad Thor's stories are timely and maybe, just a little predictable. But who cares? I really enjoy them. I like it when the white hats use their intelligence, making winning a possibility, just not constantly being snatched-from-the-jaws-of-death through impossible twists of the storyline.

Maybe the best

Would you consider the audio edition of Full Black to be better than the print version?

Being able to immerse yourself in the mind of Brad Thor is scary. Armand Schultz does a fantastic job portraying the characters. Having to drive an hour each way to work; this is the only way I get to read... er listen :)

What did you like best about this story?

Brad Thor has captured the dichotomy of USA politics in its extreme. If I didn't know this was fiction then I might have thought it was factual.

What does Armand Schultz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Armand Schultz breaths life into the characters of the book

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Chapters 15 and 33. Read/listen to the book to find out ;)

Any additional comments?

By far the best book in the series

Fantastic

I love story line on where it picked up and how it set the pace for the next book.

May sure Armonk Shultz does the rest of the series. He is excellent.

Very Impressed! Now I need to start from 1st book.

What did you love best about Full Black?

Glad it was recommended to me. While looking up the other books starring this character, I found the first two books are not recorded yet. So I will wait for them to be released then start from the beginning.

What did you like best about this story?

the references to the progressive movement that has been seeping into our society developing into such a confusing understanding of our government. And how this misguided influence could develop into a similar scenario like this.

Which character – as performed by Armand Schultz – was your favorite?

Scot Harvath of course

A thrilling listen.

This was my introduction to Brad Thor, Scot Harvath and Armand. I didn't know what I was in for and had moderate expectations. Now, 5 stories later, I still think this is a fantastic book and the series leading up to it is superb. Strong characters and compelling tension brilliantly read by Armand. Keep up the great work!
