I just love these books. Great series, cant wait until the next one. You laugh, You Cry, then your on the edge of your seat then your laugh and cry some more. These books have it all. You must give them a try.

The best narrator for this series, she brings uniqueness to each character.

If you like humor, romance, mystery, and paranormal, weaved together by a very talented author & narrator this series is for you.
It is best to start at the beginning of the series for each book builds upon the others and the characters develop throughout.
Can't say enough about the uniqueness of this storyline.

There is adult language and situations, not for young readers, but this author does have other books for teens.

Loved it!!!

Again I loved this book. I love the storyline and the narrator is one of my favorites. The fact that I have to wait for however long for another book is pure torture, so I have decided to listen to the series again from the beginning while I sit in wait for the next book. I always laugh at Charlie, but man she always ends up in trouble...bad trouble. Oh well, I guess you can do that when Hot...Hot...Hot Reyes has got your back....(did I mention that he was hot)?

Absolutely. I love this series so much. I can't wait to see what happens next. If you want love, action, suspense and tons of laughs this is definitely the series for you. Thanks Darynda for showing us this wonderful world you've created. Please give us more, lots more.

What did you like best about this story?

That Charlie is beginning to find out more about what she is and what she's capable. Oh! and there's always Reyes. Can't get enough of him

Spoiler Alert!!!! My favorite part is the ending when she finds out what Reyes has bought in her name and wants to know the answer to the question on the post it

I did read it in one sitting. I can't get enough of these fantastic characters.

Charlie is a smart mouth, sexy as hell, fierce friend, niece, daughter and sister but she continues to be a good person. Now matter what happens she continues to live her life protecting and helping others. She is a great role model

Love this series. Love how Charlie's powers and hers and Rayus' relationship keep expanding. Very relatable book even tho obviously very fictional.

The story is great and plot keeps at a steady pacing. You never get bored. The narrator fits this character perfectly and the author is a genius. I already downloaded the Nextbook.

Yes! The writing is superb! Always a very well rounded story with just the right amount of humor, drama, and heart warming tenderness. It all balances out so perfectly. Darynda Jones is a genius! Love it!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Do I really need to pick just one? That's soooo unfair. I'm gonna have to be a rule breaker and say... Charley Davidson (no brainer), Reyes (no brainer), Cookie, Amber, Swopes, Uncle Bob, Rocket, Strawberry shortcake, Mr. Wong, Angel, Artemis, Donovan and his gang... pretty much everyone that isn't a bad guy. It's really hard not to become attached to all of Darynda Jones' characters. They're all so real and lovable in their own special way.

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

Lorelei King is the BOMB! A true artist! Seriously. Narrators can do one of three things to a book. They can either; 1) Add nothing to it whatsoever because the narration is completely neutral (this rarely happens), 2) Totally ruin a perfectly good book (Or even a so-so book). This tends to happens more often than not because it's the voice and inflection a narrator adds to the characters that can so easily change the way the dialogue is interpreted. Very tricky thing to get just right. OR 3) Their narration enhances the story, making a great book even better or improving a book that needed the help. That's what Lorelei King does. She is spot on in her narration for the story and EVERY character. I can't imagine Charley Davidson or anyone else sounding any other way. She's PERFECT! And I'm so glad she's THE narrator on every book. Please, please, please, don't EVER switch!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are always moments in EVERY Charley Davidson book that move me. It's to be expected and one of the things I love about this series. But I'm not going to name any because I don't want to put any spoilers out there.

Why hasn't this series been picked up by a major cable network yet? Seriously! This would make a great TV series! Hello _______ (<--- insert major cable network call letters) exec's. This one's a real gem. Don't let the opportunity to snare it slip through your fingers.
