Beyond the Cabin was an excellent read!

This was the second book based on the character Lexie Montgomery. The author gives her characters so much detail and life that the reader becomes submerged in the storyline. This second book was extremely suspenseful keeping the reader entertained from start to finish. I had the pleasure of reading on kindle as well as listening to the audible version. The narrator did a fantastic job. I am hoping this author continues with more books based on the character Lexie!

Fabulous♡ just listen to it again!

This is my second book that I’ve listened to from this author. She used the same narrator as her first novel which I liked because it kept the continuity. Beyond The Cabin was a fast paced characters and giving them life. The novel is set in the South Carolina Lowcountry and the setting is so vivid it becomes a character. Looking forward to Dana Ridenour’s next book.
An absolute rollercoaster of emotion♡

Another "hard to put it down" story!

This is the second book i've read written by Dana Ridenour. The story line captures your attention. And then you just can't put it down to see what is coming up next. I will admit, I was yelling at Lexie, "what are you doing?" so many times! She was unstoppable - but she put herself and her friend's lives at risk. You had to trust her! I can't wait for book #3!

Just started but...

Admittedly I'm only an hour into the book so I won't rate the content yet. (Will come back and update at the end.) But I had to comment on the narration. The audio sounds robotic. Not like there is no inflection or tone, actually digital. Like Alexa (or Siri) is reading it. I had to double check that there was a person listed as narrator. Maybe it's because it also sounds like it's been sped up to 1.5x. I can't fault the voice actor - this seems like an audio engineer issue. Fast, robotic/digital-sounding. Hard to get into the story because of it.
