Deadly Sexy Excellent Read
Beverly Jenkins is my favorite Historical writer. I have read all her Historical books. 1st time reading her crime/mystery book and it didn't disappoint. The different twist and turns keep you engaged to the very end. The story teller Myra did a superb job telling the story.

SO SO SO GOOD
SoSo Good, and the fact that this story has so many references to the greatest music ever, I absolutely loveed it. And that JT sister is in the story and I read Max's story first. I love the references to Loreli and her husband, the twins father. The fact that their g g g grandparents are also my favorites, like I love Griffen Blake. I absolutely love the story.

A murder mystery and love story starring 2 mesmerizing charismatic lovers.
I really liked the story line. My favorite character was Reese (the fine). What a man. His patience with and devotion to JT was a beautiful thing. Slow courting-flowers, dinner, compliments- yes, every girl’s dream!. I loved the insertion of Frankie Beverly and MAZE as a theme for Reese’s opening and closing moods regarding JT. The sex scenes were tastefully sensuous. The Narrator was excellent. She had an excellent voice for each character. I would really welcome a sequel bringing in JT’s sister Max and her husband Dr Adam Gary. That would make a best seller!
