Publisher's summary

Skeletons fall out of the closet as I get my memories back.

Everything changed overnight.

Truth became my enemy, and the sting of betrayal dragged me into a web of lies.

I’m damned if I fight to live and damned if I die.

The dark secrets I remember might tear my marriage apart.

Love is a myth we shouldn’t have explored.

My husband was always my enemy.

Love just made me forget and blinded me.

The cruel hand of death is the only answer when doom takes over.

I don’t know if I’ll survive.

Or if death will bury me along with the sins of my father.

Merciless Union is a dark mafia arranged marriage romance that contains mature content.

👏🏾👏🏾

👏🏾👏🏾 This duet was everything. Faith Summers is a beast with the keyboard. Everything about this duet swept me away. The amount of story, the growth of the characters, the spice —just perfection.

If you enjoy plot heavy dark romance, the Blood and Thorns Duet is just for you.

Yep. Good read.

PLOT! PLOT! PLOT!
The drama! Rafael was a real POS. Don’t get me started on Pakhan’s son. Whew!
Shout out to Kale and Lisa. Covered some gruesome themes and did a good job narrating. This is the second book I read by Faith Summers. Looking forward to reading more of her work.

Awsome duet!

My first book by these authors and I loved everything about this duet….

The writing was absolutely beautiful. This was intense, suspenseful with fast paced action, many twists and turns, sizzling romance and off-the-chart chemistry between Lucca and Aria. Their complex story was emotionaly draining and those two were wonderful complicated characters. It could not have been more detailed and well-crafted. Without forgetting the whole cast of bad and good secondary characters who contributed magnificently to make this story even more interesting. I listened to the audio version and the choice of narrators for this story for me was key.

A PHENOMENALLY WRITTEN & EPICALLY NARRATED DUET

Aria and Lucca’s exciting rollercoaster continues, clashes and beautifully concludes in a highly-charged emotional spin and slide as both push and pull at their flawed connection and combustible chemistry to try and navigate their past, their present and their future. Uncovering all the truths from all the lies their enemies have cleverly spun is not going to be easy.. or without consequences, heartache, bloodshed and pain. When Aria finally starts to get her memories back there are further revelations and emotional conflicts that strain their destined, but doomed, relationship further. Twists, angst, drama, suspense, betrayal and shocking truths has Lucca (aka Merciless the Bratva Enforcer) determined to protect his woman at any cost and relentlessly continue his quest to avenge his family’s bloody murders. However, Lucca’s trust and loyalty is stretched, split and shattered when the villainous truths he uncovers devastate and try to destroy both of them. And Aria has many choices to make as her head wars with her heart.. but, in the end, it doesn’t really matter because it turns out there’s no choice at all.

Worth a credit? Yes I loved.. loved.. loved this beautifully broken Bratva hero and the soul-deep love he has for his damaged woman who needs to remember the long ago joy she felt when she was with a boy called Peter.. and she was a girl called Wendy. It’s an awesome, addictive, well-written, well-paced phenomenal Duet that I felt through to my soul and gloriously binge-listened to most of the night. Then there’s the outstanding dual POV narration by Lisa and Kale who were on point ev-er-y step of the way. The accents, the highly-charged taught, tension-filled, touching, tender, raw and romantic emotions together with the action-packed, the brutal, the h—hot, the climactic and the beautiful chapters were all five star perfection. And the swoons.. and the drools.. and the happily ever afters.. and the Epilogues.. and the.. and the.. and the.. all five glorious glittering stars.

Almost

I’ve listened to other books by Faith Summers and it’s the same story recycled. Almost the exact sequence of events. I liked the element of her losing her memory and working to get it back. That part was really interesting. The plot around everything except her and Lucas’s relationship was pretty enjoyable. I can’t take it when the women are wet blankets and so overwhelmed by the animal attraction that they fail to make the men suffer any real consequences. For once can the woman leave the guy? Even better if it’s for a little while? Can they make them sweat or work for it? For the volume of sex it wasn’t that interesting, and for the last half of the book I kept checking how much was left. This could have be 1 book.
The male narrators Russian accent was garbage. If the guy can’t do it, make him sound like a standard American. He grew up here.
And Spoilers
I hate when the women get trapped with being pregnant. Detest it. Aria didn’t seem to take into account the life her kid would have. Come on. Give me some real time and consideration.

ok.... book 1 was great but this one just ok...

Minor Spoilers.....

I loved book one but this one was just ok. Too many things thrown in for shock effect that was eye rolling at times. No one is that stable after remembering all that trauma and after a while your just like come on that too?!? And it just glosses over things like oh, you got just in stomach but check yourself out of hospital in 3 days, or, your abused by your captor who abused you as a child but it's never addressed later. I don't know, just too much was put in and storyline got lost!
