good

loved the books, I'm not
much of a review writer but I would recommend the listen

Well...

Not a terrible story. Lots of strong characters that all live in this unfortunate city that is always on the brink of war. Major inconsistencies, but a repetitive sex story isn't generally about the story. My biggest issue was with the narrator! She did a great job at handling all the voices actually. She just couldn't land the sexiness. It was terribly hard to listen to sex scenes that were spoken to you like you were in first grade! I sped it up, slowed it down, stopped listening for a while, everything!! By book 4, she was a lot more believable, but the hotness level of this book could have been changed so much with a different narrator.

A good listen, though a couple stories were a bit repetitive/very similar to each other. still enjoyed the set though

Man, I really wanted this to be good, I couldn't even make it a quarter way through the 1st book. its just not good. really regretting my credit spent on it.

Great stories

If u like the same story line almost entirely with small changes that matter u will love this set of books but if it irks u to hear the same story four times I don’t recommend

Decent stories with some good twists

The story line was good with decent character development and shine good steamy scenes. My biggest channels was the narrator. Her way of speaking with the way her voice rises and falls with each sentence was very distracting and took away a LOT grin the story. I will NOT be listening to anything narrated by her again.

the narrator

the story was good, I can't get past the narrator. this is the first set I was unable to finish. I got through the first book hoping it got better with practice in the second story... nope. the narrative was given so-so for the female main character but all the males were just monotone or they said reasonable things but were made sound like joke, the words didn't match the tone and I just couldn't get past it.

Not a bad series

This series overall wasn’t bad, but it became repetitive with each book. Yes, there were different storylines, but each intimate scene was identical in each book.

the steady theme

I love this series. definitely gives you good ideas for more coupling encounters. the last book is my favorite. the addition of the vampire is perfect

its ok

The story could have a little bit more detail and background when it comes to the relationships beyond sex. The only good thing I can say about the narrator is she does OK with a difference between male and female voices beyond that it's extremely whiny and hard to listen to after a while.
