Publisher's summary

Everything is in flux....

Dallion thought that his successful encounter with the star would grant him calm, respect, and the luxury of leveling up at his leisure. He couldn’t have been more wrong.

Juggling between surprise visits from old friends, new guild responsibilities, and the preliminary trials for the glorious Festival Tournament, Dallion gets caught up in dealings with Nerosal’s awakened criminal underground.

Yet, even that pales when compared to the new threat that has befallen the city. An ancient copyette has escaped its banishment, returning to the real world. Millenia ago, it tried to conquer the world. Now, it can be anyone. Even one of Dallion’s closest friends.

So many worlds to explore, so much time, and always someone trying to take it away.

Book three of a unique spin on isekai LitRPG filled with countless pocket-realms to explore. A zero-to-hero slow-build progression fantasy you won't be able to pause.

A Great Third to a Fun Story

Leveling up the World by L. Eclaire has been a fun ride up to this point. It's a good mix of action, slice of life, and mystery. With the festival drawing near and the chaos that comes with big secrets being spilled, what more could you ask for except the fourth one to come that much sooner?

Jack is an excellent narrator for this story, and I can't wait to see the next one arrive.

I did not finish this one.

So I had about a little over an hour left in this book and I just couldn't finish. I know that the story is about growth of the characters. The main characters plot armor is the only reason that he survives. He's an idiot. the world and concept is interesting. it also feels like the book is made it longer than the creator thought and so they have to add layers to what's going on. I am done.

I couldn't do it

First off, the narration is top notch. Very well done.

The story was slightly interesting.

That's the good things I can say about it.

I couldn't finish though. The main character gets annoyed every time someone talks to him. It's like he's an 11 year old spoiled single child brat that never grew up at all. I have to skip a lot of the dialogue and even whole chapters with how awful the author gave him this attitude.

If you need some teen angst and enjoy playing the victim then you might be into this. Otherwise, it's honestly not worth it unless you've gotten this far into the story and want to finish.
