He's a man used to getting what he wants, but she's not the type of woman to take things lying down....

Born into a life of crime, Mitya Amurov has had a hard life, and his leopard has developed into a feral beast to protect him. It's constantly trying to claw its way to the surface - until a chance encounter with a stranger instantly calms the predator inside him. While Mitya wants Ania desperately, it's only a matter of time before his past catches up with him, and he'd rather die than put her in danger. But Ania is dealing with dangers of her own....

Considering her family's history, Ania Dover should know better than to get mixed up with a criminal like Mitya, but she just can't stay away. Something wild in her responds to his presence. A need so strong it scares her. But she's not sure she can accept what he's offering. Ania has always been an independent woman, and Mitya expects to be obeyed in all things.

Even with her body calling out for his, Ania won't let anything stop her from settling a deadly score years in the making - not even the man who wants to claim her as his mate.

Fantastic narration and lots of sensual play!

This book isn’t much different than the other books, in this series. I read a few reviews that commented on the numerous sexual scenes; they thought they were excessive. I don’t mind all of the sex scenes and in defense of the author, the Heroine is supposed to be a feline shifter in heat. If you’ve ever been around a cat in heat, you would know that the frequency of the sexual relations, in this book, are actually a pretty realistic representation of what a feline shifter would likely be like.

Like the other books, in this series, there is a threat against the H and h and a good part of the book is about trying to discover who the threat is and eliminate them. There is a lot of violence and killing, in these books, so if you’re bothered by the viciousness, you might want to choose another series.

As always, Jim Frangione’s narration is spot-on. He’s one of most talented narrators, in the business.

My vote is yes, for credit worthiness but, I do recognize that this might not be everyone’s cup of tea!

First time around.

For the female cat this is her first time around. She is young this is her first life. She doesn't understand the male and she is afraid of her mate. This is a new story line from the other books in this series. I would liked to see more of a crack in the same old story line.

Leopards Wrath

Christine Feehan has written an exciting series about leopard shifters. It’s very interesting. I listened to the audiobook yesterday while I worked in my garden. It’s the first time I’ve read/listened to any of the leopard series and I was astonished. It’s excellent. I listened until it was finished. I loved Ania and amity’s and all the other characters. I hope I will see them in their own books.

Leopard's Wrath Book 12.

The book brought the whole reason why the Amurov family and their last existing uncle. Who was out to get all their children because of the very reason that their sons left their lair of the Vor of the bratya from Russia. In their lair their fathers were very hateful and depraved with the way they treat their women. Including their wives and daughters did not have any right to their life or the family. They are sold into sex trafficking and abused by the same men who were supposed to be their protectors and they ends up becoming the abusers of them. It is in the series that the wrath of the leopard that have being seeking to destroyed them. The next generation of the Amurov family their father and uncle Lazar has been planning for a long time. lazar’s aims were to use their women or neither take their women away by doing the same he and his brothers did to their mothers. Nor Lazar did get them during their first three tries with their women. But when all that failed and he has lost some many men he decided to come by himself. Bringing with him his most senior and experienced fighters of his leopard lair with hope that this time they will become successful. But he failed to recognize that his son and his nephews are stronger and remain faithful with one another.

Sizzling!!!!!

This book was smoking hot!!! I enjoyed the story line and the characters. Jim Frangione did an excellent job, as always, with the narration. This book tells the story of Mitya and Anya. Something compels Mitya to stop and help a lady change a tire on a rainy night. He and Anya are immediately attracted to each other and Mitya's leopard seems to calm while in Anya's presence. He recognizes Anya as his true mate. As they begin their relationship, they must fight for their lives for someone is out to kill one or both of them, including Mitya's own father. This book is fast paced, filled with action and hot sensual sex scenes. I will be rereading this one many times.

Pretty good, but.....

While Frangione gets points for consistency, it was off-putting his consistent mispronunciation of Eli, a name that showed up frequently. Really threw me out of the story each time. I love this guy's voice, so it was unfortunate. 2020 - re-listening for the upcoming book and I have to agree with the others, The sex is getting gratuitous. The story has plenty of heft and history by itself.

LOVED MITYA AMUROV!!

Narration was good! Just wish it was recorded with a higher sound volume. I don't use ear buds so it gets hard to hear if you are in traffic or around outside noise. The sound only goes so high. It not high enough to hear over background noises.

I had been waiting for Mitya Amurov story since he was almost killed in bk.9 Leopards Fury. Mitya and his Leopard Dymka did not disappoint. They were a fighting machine.

I felt so sad for Ania Dover our heroine of the story. To lose her father Antoska Dover and her entire family the way she did was so sad. When her father had to be killed I just cried.

The storyline is very good and the revisiting of all the old characters from previous books was fun.

The reason I gave Leopards Wrath 4 stars instead of 5 was 1. After each great action scene there was a very erotic sex scene between Mitya and Ania but there was no romance or passion. It felt like just hard core grunge sex. It wasn't until toward the very end did I feel the love between the couple. 2. Having a sex scene after each action scene broke up the storyline. As usual with CF 50% of her story is sex!! She is such a great story teller. I wish she would spend more time on the storyline and action scenes.

Well this is how she writes and I am not giving her up. So I have to live with it LOL!!!
