Made me skillful

Empathy is a very important skill for leaders and mentors. Just a few leaders are aware of the huge impact that empathy has. Difficult times are the right time to show and use this skill because empathizing with the problems of your team makes it stronger and more powerful.

Realistic and useful audible

Most of the tips and tricks he uses I’ve not heard before – he does mention that they are hard won advice through half a lifetime of experience. A good book to start a management career.

Very inspiring

An excellent and inspiring business book! The most important thing I have learned from this book is that every manager should step into the shoes of his team members and view things from their angle. After listening to this book I have applied this advice and noticed that I have a better understanding of my teams needs and they are far more productive now. My team members and I have built a stronger connection between us

Learned a lot of strategies

For achieving our business or private goals we all need to be motivated. Managers have to motivate themselves, as well as their teams. Appropriate motivation pushes all of us to work hard without giving up. The main reason why managers must have the right leadership skills is to influence team motivation. Different people need to be motivated in different ways and this book has taught me that. I have learned a lot of strategies that I can use with my team members.
