good story, dragged a bit in the middle

i lost interest part way through and read another book before coming back to finish. it was ok enough.

Loved it

I loved this. Listened to it twice. I especially loved Travis. Really likable character. I hope the other books in the series get uploaded to audio.

Unexpected delight

I saw this book on Booktok which is always hit and miss. I loved it. I love the journey of hope and humanity. And the romance was great, just the right amount of steam and emotion. The performance was also topnotch. I’m happy I discovered this one.

I'm usually into urban fiction with wolves and vampires, so this was a whole different direction. I'm glad I tried it!! I love slow burn romance! I especially loved the MMC! Their love story felt so real.

I listened in one day! If you like post apocalyptic books and great love stories this book is the perfect blend of both!! I was actually sad when it ended, I feel like I am going to miss them. I highly recommend this book!

Loved This

So pleasantly surprised! Not a gory PA story and just the right amount of drama and angst. Not an epic or literary masterpiece, but was well done and very easy to follow. This moved along and kept me fully invested in the story and characters. The main characters were believable and relatable and their emotions and responses kept me fully engrossed and cheering for them the whole way through. A great build up and beautiful romance. Spice level was just right IMO. Ill be picking up another of this authors books. Narrator did a great job too!

I read A LOT of romances but this was something special. Loved the narration, the story, and especially our male main character. He was so.. everything!✨
She was pretty great too most of the time, but I must admit that I didn't like the fact that he was so insecure about himself and she did almost nothing to correct him, especially when they had their final talk, as though she was special and he was only lucky to have her. that's the only problem I really had with this book, because everything else was really good! loved their conversations, their storyline with Duke, their little slice of heaven and the sex scenes were awesome and finally realistic (he is mr. "consent" which never hurts) thank you for this story ❤️❤️❤️
