Absolutely Wonderful
I bought this book on a whim because I was looking for something new in Dragon Romance and I definitely found it! Freyja is awesome, Rurik is the best and together they are perfection. I couldn't stop listening and even skipped back many times just so I could listen to their interactions again. This is way more than I could have hoped for and I'm so pleasantly surprised.
I absolutely recommend this book to anyone that likes dragon shifter romances and a bit of GoT style royal politics. However, I would suggest listening to the sample since I don't think the narrator is going to be everyone's cup of tea, but I found she did an excellent job of all the male voice dialogue (of various ages and conditions).
Note - this does end in a HEA, but it is really the start of their journey. The next books (5 total with a 6th on the way) are all different stories and I'm guessing Freyja and Rurik adventures are happening in the background. Disappointingly, Audible currently doesn't have all the books available so I'm going to wait on the others for now so I don't miss anything.
