Loved this recording

This audio was very helpful in understanding the workings of the human body and how it metabolizes all of the toxins and poisons that are fed to it on a daily basis. A lot of great food for thought and actionable suggestions.

Nice read

I am glad I listened to this book. Although there are no ground breaking findings in it - it would be difficult to say anything new about food - the connections the author makes are very interesting. There are many examples of how certain food influences our health and weight, that are so obvious when you hear it, yet they never occurrent to me before. Credits worth spend on this one.

Très intéressant!

Ce livre est très intéressant. Il est facile à écouter et donne de bons conseils pour booster notre métabolisme. Il n'y a pas trop de termes techniques qui rendraient l'écoute de ce titre anglophone difficile pour une francophone. Si vous avez une bonne base en anglais, vous pourrez vous y retrouver assez aisément. Les documents disponibles (1 fourni, 1 sur internet) sont vraiment aidants et appréciés.

Sound advice. A doctor at cutting edge of research

no nonsense factual approach to loosing weight the sound way. Good for someone who has done a bit of reading on the subject of nutrition. Good voice to listen to.

Great book except for the missing references

I gave this book a 4/5-star rating because it constantly refers to quizzes etc. that are only available in the audio version on CD or the hard copy. For that reason, and in order not to feel cheated, I ended up buying the paperback as well.

Otherwise, the audiobook is chock full of great information and advice that is clearly presented and easy to understand. A definite thumbs up!

A must have for the health diet conscious.

This is my second audio book on the subject of diet & exercise (the first being the "Abs Diet") and I did enjoyed listening to the "UltraMetabolism" .
It is loaded with new and updated information on this fascinating and sometimes overlooked subject of the human metabolism.

Ultra Metabolism

This is the first review I have written since my 2 yr membership with Audible. I want to encourage you to take a look at this book!

The book provides the most up to date research in Weight Loss Science and is in line with other credible sources. As an Exercise Physiologist I found the book very useful in helping clients to understand weight loss essentials. The only draw back is that the author often refers to 'CD 4' for text files and quizzes. At first this was a problem but I found I could go to the website and get the guide to accompany the book (which I recommend you do).

The author is enjoyable to listen to and gets to the point. I highly recommend this book if you are having trouble losing weight and want to get good current scientific advice.
