My energy levels have changed. I am not tired anymore at 3-4pm. I don’t even want to nap. Very well explained. Research cited and real life stories made this very easy to understand.

Well presented material

This book was written in a way that was easily digestible! The author did a lovely job summarizing the information from the studies. I think she succeeded in validating her hypothesis that reducing glucose spikes is important. I enjoyed listening the the hacks and have started implementing them. I think the fact that she has, in a way, used her body as a science experiment has inspired me to try out these easy food hacks/adjustments to see what happens in my own body! I have already shared this book with multiple people.

awesome book!

everybody should read/listen to this book. Extremely helpful to understand the underlying chemistry of how food is processed and absorbed by our bodies.

Sooooo helpful

I am diabetic and just started changing the order of eating my food.
I cannot believe my good fortune of finding Jessie.
Glucose spikes are better and I have lost 5 pounds in just over a week. thank you so much. I am grateful already.

Amazing!

Using the hacks in this book I have changed the way I feel! I used to be tired all the time and have intense hypoglycemia 4-5 hours after eating a meal. My doctors told me I didn’t have pre diabetes or diabetes and didn’t have any other answers for me. I was basically willing to do anything! A friend suggested this book and it’s been amazing! I feel so much better!

Great book but short on science

The hacks to decrease glucose and insulin spikes that the author presents are very clear and easy to manage with each meal. Should we though?
I would have loved to see more scientific literature cited within the text e.g. How not to Diet by Dr. Michael Greger to support the need to apply the hacks and their effects on different populations.
Still, it is a must read in this day and age of western diet and standard american diet health consequences.
