A great overview of what we need to do to repair years of damage to our gut and why it is important. I bought the hardcopy of this book after listening to this book - for quicker reference and periodic review of this important message.
I've studied nutrition and health for 20 years. I'm excited to try this after seeing the results in my BFF! Her countenance glows with health at 47 yrs. I'm impressed. Months will go by whether you do this or not, so just do it. Find the joy in the natural flavor of food. It isn't supposed to always be sweet. Just eat it and reap the rewards. It's worth it. Dr. Mullin is a gastroenterologist with a wealth of knowledge as well as personal and practical experience with the gut microbiome. This book was recommended to me by a doctor at a weightloss clinic. It can and will change your relationship to food and change your life, for the better. Do yourself a favor, improve your health today to live a longer, better, healthier life-read or listen to this book today. I recommend listening to it in the car AND buying the book as a hands-on resource guide.
Could have been much better or much shorter. Too much focus on the review of other diets.
