I agree with Marcie

What made the experience of listening to The Fast Metabolism Diet the most enjoyable?

She is a born motivator. If I had read this book myself I probably would not have tried this diet.

Any additional comments?

The only thing I will add to Marcie's review is that I was able to complete this diet with strong difficulty. When you complete it if you return to your old ways the weight will come back but not as fast as other diets. When you make the days I would say don't let yourself stray too far from the plan because I was mislead by the "fixing your metabolism" statement. No more than a week and if you have the willpower, go back to it. It is a very healthy diet but somewhat unrealistic for most to continue as a lifestyle. Her recipes suck! lol! But if you can cook you will figure out how to cook the way you like to eat.

I am halfway through the book. I downloaded it to my phone. To find the PDF you must log in on a computer to your Audible account. Click on library and you will see it listed under Title. Click PDF and you will be able to view and print. I hope this helps!

It works!

When a friend I've known for 30 yrs showed up looking 15 yrs younger & like she'd lost 25 lbs, I got excited!
I ordered both the book & audiobook immediately. The premise if the book made sense to me and I started eating as instructed. Since I'd been disappointed many times before, I'll admit I was skeptical! But the first week I lost 4 lbs! I've not been hungry either, because I'm eating every 3 to 4 hours. The diet's variety is a plus, too. It almost feels like playing a food game! The book has master food lists in the back, as well as recipes for each phase. Every week you go through 3 different phases. The 3 phases are designed to speed up your metabolism & (drumroll please!) switch your body's (slow metabolism) habit of STORING FAT to BURNING FAT mode !!! In an effort to enable your liver to do this you give up sugar, wheat, dairy, corn, wine & caffeine. Since you eat a lot of fruit on this diet the sugar is gotten over pretty quickly. The fast results are so motivating, I don't feel deprived - I feel healthier, more energized & can't wait to surprise my doctor at my annual physical next month !

Packed full of resourceful information that one can go back to over and over for a lifetime. I recommend listening to it now.

Probably a goood diet, but it was confusing.

If you could sum up The Fast Metabolism Diet in three words, what would they be?

Confusing, incomplete, lacking

What about Rebecca Lowman’s performance did you like?

It was just right for this type of book.

No, but it did have some problems.

Instructions for those who had more than 20 pounds to lose were wrong. I found the correct instructions on her web site. She did not cover portion sizes for individual items in either the book or the pdf. (They were included for recipes in the pdf). After many searches, I finally found the m on her website. This is probably not the best book for those who hav vision problems like me.

Great information .. dietis working

Great information .. loss 5 lbs in first week .. I gave it 4 Starr’s .. I don’t have all the meal plans and recipes .. next time I will order the book from her so I get the downloads

Very informative and eye opening!

I've tried for over 20 years to control my high cholesterol with a low fat diet and it never truly worked. Within 2 weeks of Hayley ' s methods, my total cholesterol dropped from 306 to 183!! I can't wait to see how I will look after 28 days!!

Another diet

Most diet books are too complex to follow this one seems easier. You just have to follow the rules and eat 5 times a day.
