Narrative makes the world go round.
This is one of those books with numerous lists, facts, and names that you might want to note, and so is best accessed in print form, if print is accessible to you.
As for the content, I found it very similar to Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra et. al. - and except for a BIT more info on nutrition for skin care, redundant if you've read their later stuff. Perricone seemed more of a supplement salesman than even Weil and Chopra - while he seems to be research based, he also seems to favour certain manufacturers.
Also, most of this info could be found though a good web search, unless you have a budget and wish to buy really pricey supplements to make your skin glow like a celebrity.
Very analytical and informative. I listened to several sections more than once. The narrator did a good job carefully enunciating the complicated information. I recommended this to my sister, and she agreed.
Yes, ready to order another book by him.
This is a must read for understanding the science of what ages our bodies. The title is a bit misleading, in that it does not explain the depth of the information provided. This book will make you rethink every food you eat and every product you absorb, but not in a frightening way - more focused on extending and enjoying life to the fullest.
The only con for the audio book is the detailed information that is provided, so often I wished I had the pages in front of me for reference and to show others.
