Good narration predictable story

Started off very interesting but then became redundant and predictable. The narrator was very good though

Not my fav but so so

I like this author so I was very excited for this book. I did like it but just not my fav when it comes to this author. Very classic Feeney book were two things that make no since comes together at the end.

Predictable with underwhelming plot/characters

Almost couldn’t finish this one. Had to bribe myself with the promise of the new Robert Galbraith book…finally finished yesterday and honestly feel like my time was wasted. Had potential to be much better, but the “big twist” at the end simply wasn’t worth waiting for. Contrived and too many perspective changes where the story is being told by one character, only to suddenly shift to a different one right as the details are falling into place. Normally that type of “hook” makes you want to keep reading on, but in this case it just made you want to walk away.

Great book

Loved this book. Suspenseful to say the least. I couldn’t put it down. Each chapter had me thinking I knew what was going only to find out there was another layer.

A great mind twister!

I loved this story it was amazingly written and fun to listen too! This is a thriller with a great ending.

Kept my interest until the end. I will tend to ditch a book that doesn’t hold my interest, but this one delivered. Very good!

“Daisy darker “ one of the best books of my lifetime ( I’m 61) this was a beautiful story and hit you in the heart as a mother .
Beware bc it has triggering things like dealing w loss of child ( if you’ve listened to a child this book will be hard for you -IMHO)
Still I found there was hope in this book as well as a real mystery !
I truly didn’t know who did it !

Amazing!!

I absolutely love the narrator and now listen to all of Alice Feeney’s books! The narrator can ruin an amazing book but this one makes you feel like you are watching the story instead of listening!

Story was just as good as the narration! This is a 5+!!

Great Twist

There were times the story was too wordy and ran slow. Not a bad listen. Liked the twist at the end.
