Omg…
Omg. The twists and turns and unexpected drops and…ugh. This book was EVERYTHING you want a suspenseful story to be. Characters with good depth and development and even more mystery. Story lines with history. Foreshadowing, nuanced surprises, actual cliffhangers throughout the book…it has it ALLLLLL. It is a longer book, but I finished the last third in one day…with the last 20-ish chapters being read, not Audible-ed. I couldn’t stop…I had to know.
This one is absolutely one of my newest faves. And the character voices made the storyline that much more enjoyable.
Now excuse me while I finally take my self to bed…three hours late….

Hooked Til the End
I felt like I did when I watched the Sixth Sense. As the story went on I realized how much I had missed. It started out slow for me and I was having a hard time connecting all the dots. But as the story unfolded I had a hard time turning it off. Might be a 2nd read for me and I seldom do that.

So many good twists and turns!
This book kept me guessing. Each time I thought I’d figured it out it shifted but in a way that made sense. The audio version is well done and I hugely recommend this for any one who likes thrillers with a splash of criminal investigation

Will Keep You Engaged!
I would say this is a definite page turner but since I’m listening to it I will say it is definitely a binge listen! At first it gave me You vibes but as the plot twist deepened with each chapter, I found myself riveted by each of the characters POV. At times it does drag on but when I thought I solved the case about midway through, another plot twist was thrown in and caught me off guard. I absolutely recommend!
