Publisher's summary

Fascia is a single, interconnected web of tissue that runs from the top of your head to the bottoms of your feet. It surrounds every organ, every muscle, every bone, and every nerve fiber. And it has an astonishing range of functions.

At Complete Wellness, New York City's number one pain management clinic, director Dr. Daniel Fenster is using both high-tech and low-tech fascia therapies to change the lives of thousands of people for the better. With this book, you'll learn if you have fascia-related problems - and if so, how serious they are.

If self-therapy is the right choice for you, Dr. Fenster outlines a simple, effective "Fix Your Fascia" Plan, a holistic program including stretching, foam rolling, destressing (meditation), fascia-friendly eating, hydration, and self-massage. Dr. Fenster also offers an insider's perspective on the most powerful tools in fascial manipulation: medical massage, acupuncture, cryotherapy, and trigger point therapy and trigger point injections.

Knowledge is power. This book is worth your time.

Since September 2022, I have been prioritizing health and wellness in my life. I started a fitness program and lost 50 pounds.

During the transformation, I asked a coach to explain why my muscles felt a particular way when I moved in a specific manner.

This book inadvertently was an explanation for all the physical and mental changes I experienced, including the question I posed to my coach.

I say "inadvertently." I bought the book because the title matched a review I wrote about my program:

I relieved Pain.

I boosted my Energy,

I eased my Anxiety and Depression,

I bought this book and gave it as a gift to my coach.

Interesting overview

This serves as a good introduction to a very complicated topic. I think the author chose stories from many different disciplines to make it interesting. Worth the read.

Fantastic book

I've been looking for more info on fascia since reading "quench" and this is it. I only finished chapter 1 so far but I already know this is the book I was looking for.

largest organ ,the fascia .

I liked this. great info I never knew existed. no surgery for me ,is what I am hoping for. Scoliosis, chronic back pain you name it this read can guide you to treatment that is out there.
massage, cupping, acupuncture ,any type of movement you can do.
I now make it a habit to sit straight, drink water to give my fascia a fighting chance at giving me a longer life. Yoga, breathing all sound ATypical, right? well this breaks it down so you understand why. When we stop reading a book or listening to a audiobook, it's because we lost interest. Why? because we didn't understand some word or sentence. it will not happen here. I did need a lot of breaks though and heard the book 2-3 times to make sure I got it .

Very informative with actual exercise to do

Very descriptive information that gives a basic and thorough understanding of fascia and the human body. I am a runner and I’ve listened to many books about athletic performance and this book was extremely helpful with easy to practice exercises and skills to apply.

Fascia Queen

I have listened to this book over and over again. I always hear something new that I hadn’t I before, and it is one of my gateway books that has lead me to a life as a fascia queen.

I can’t recommend this book enough!

This book has introduced me to the idea of fascia as a way to heal myself of chronic pain. The author writes in a way that is plain, simple and easy to understand. He also comes across as very kind and empathetic. I intend to recommend this book to members of my family who are experiencing the debilitating effects of chronic pain. No one should have to live with unnecessary pain.
