Good story
I love the author and all of her books. I think that the stories are great including this one. But, I really don’t like this narrator. She makes women seem weak and whiny. She also always makes the characters in all the books she reads for this author seem they are on the verge of throwing a tantrum. It’s really annoying to listen to.
The only narrator that this author has that is amazing is in the Kate Burkholder series, Kathleen McInerney does an amazing job. She should read all of Linda Castillos books.

Did not relate to the main character
I really did not like this book. I didn’t like the narrator nor the main characters behavior and actions. Very frustrating, I started to delete it but wanted to find out what happened to the sister.
I normally like Linds Castillo’s books but overall I did not like this audio book.

Cookie Cutter Story
I was a fan of Linda Castillo’s Kate Burkholder series so I bought four of her newer stand alone titles. I am very disappointed. It’s almost as though she changed the names of the characters and locations and passes it off as another book. I am returning theses books and will not be buying others by her.
